If you need to take Acc 605, choose another instructor. The exam questions are poorly written. The project is easy and he does curve, but when you see class average test scores of 60-70% in a graduate level class, SOMETHING is wrong. (and it's not the students if you catch my drift.)

Full professor and incompetent - another example of a dept/college in very rapid decline. Late to class; cannot stay on schedule; attempts to cover 6 weeks of material (and project) in final two weeks of term; attitude towards students somewhere between indifferent and hostile.

Bad professor!!! Never organized and always late. For the entire semester we went through six chapters maybe. Takes a lot of medications, so i think it is time for him to retire. The book is horrible too. So if you doubt of becoming an accountant PLEASE take this class w/this professor and read this book!!!

Always late to class. Cam in first day and told us they were adjusting his meds so he was going to let us out early. Seriously think that he has some sort of mental issue and that is why he is on medication. Told us that our final was going to be extremely difficult, everyone finished it in 20 minutes. Says one thing and does another.

This was by far my worst class at Eastern. He was late to class and then kept class sometimes past 9:10 for the night class. We barely covered the outlined chapters. I felt that I missed out on what this class because he has poor time management skills. I paid a lot for that class and Eastern needs teachers that are professional and respectful.

I don't like to knock teachers, but so far, Snyir is THE worst professor I've ever had. He TRIES to make the subject material easier to understand, but in the process, makes it more confusing. Very rude, unresponsive. You can't ask questions without him making you looks stupid in front of everyone. ALWAYS late to class & unprepared.

Not willing to help students. When asking questions he only says "read the book" and when you tell him some of the textbook subject is unclear he basically says "it's your problem not mine". Be prepared to do your own research.

A good professor. He is genuinely interested in teaching the useful subject matter of managerial accounting. He exhibits a great enthusiasm for the coursework and his students. Instructor commentary is relevant and grading fair. An asset to Eastern's business program.

It's amazing that this man has been teaching for 25 years and is soooooo terrible. I did not miss one class, however, he wasted a lot of my time chatting about his boring life rather than teaching. Also is very messy which is the opposite that you'd expect from an accountant.

This man is not with the times. He teaches from slides that are just copies of the book. Very monotone. His jokes are bad and his tangents are worse. Bring a pillow. He must be somewhat easy because I zoned out half of the time and still got an A.

I didn't think the class was too hard if you read the book but I think that he is a good teacher. He demeans everyone for not paying attention and not showing up EVEN THOUGH HE'S TALKING TO PEOPLE WHO TOOK THE TIME TO COME. He is hostile about questions.

Different approach to accounting, algebra. I learned so much, but it is a hard class, hard concepts. Learn his examples, learn his approach to problems... will do well on his exams. Gives good examples for applying concepts. Not for the lazy student!

I think he is unfairly judged because he teaches possibly the toughest under-grad accounting class. He does try hard to help people understand. It's just not a class where tou can skim through and not have to go back several times to review

dont listen to anything he lectures about!! your best bet is to figure everything out by other means. he jumps around, backtracksand confuses you more than helps you! i would never recommend taking his class to anyone
