He's a genius and will make you see economic issues differently. His exams are really challenging but you should still choose him as you'll learn much more from him than from anyone else !

Lecture contents are very inspiring and insightful. But his presentation style is not quite easy to follow. And the assignment and exam questions are very hard to answer. But it's certainly a course worth taking.

He has his own course pack. With a lot of interesting articles. But the material is very unclear. Even the tutors did not really know how to answer our questions!! He talk to us as if we were professional economist. He is helpful at his office hours. The exam are VERY long and quite difficult!Good luck.

He is tought only if you don't understand material. It's not a memorization course, but a understanding course. Take him, you miss a big part if you pick a other teacher. It's very interesting and it's a brillant guy that open your mind and strenght your capacity to see problems in an other way than just application of textbook material.

Creating Wealth - Incredibly interesting class. One of the most relevant classes in the MBA. High level look at economics, politics, monetary policy, how wealth is created in different countries. Pass Fail. No exam. Gigantic course pack, but you can read only the articles that you find interesting. Bring a summary and listen to him philosophiz

he is the most unclear and condescending teacher ever. If you ask him a question, he'll have a good laugh at your stupidity, and wonder what it is you don't understand. I did appreciate the 700 pages of random articles that he put together in his coursepack..many sections of which ended in the middle of a

He's too smart for teaching. He expects his students to be as smart as him, thus, doesn't explain things very well at all. Goes through material quickly, and his course pack isn't a huge help. But he is enthusiastic, and obviously knows a lot--interesting teacher if you're up for the challenge.

Brenner is incredibly smart, but he presents the topics in an unclear and disorganized mess. If you truly love economics, he'll be great for you. If not (like myself), he's extremely frustrating.
