Handsome ol'guy! He's nice, can be boring. I agree it is hard to sit through some of his lectures, but going to his classes will pay off. His tests,assignments,exams are based on class lectures. I would recommend him if interested in Romantics.

I had him for a full 4th year course and i would not recomend it if you haven't taken a course with him before. He is a nice guy but lectures are hard to sit through. You either love the class and are really intrested in what he is teaching or it kills you to sit through it. Half year course would have been better

boss teacher. leanient to those who show up to class and put effort into work.Eg: rewarded with no final exam. He is hands down one of my favourite teachers. show up to class you're in a 400 level class do whats required and you should do good.

Dr. Seaman is a very fair prof. He requires very little work but expects the work he does require to be well-done. If you're not interested in the topics his courses aren't the ones to take. He is very philosophical and expects no less of his students.

Dr. Seaman is a great prof. Unless you are a poor student, there really isn't any reason why you shouldn't do well in his classes. I found the loopholes he provided (ie: extensions, exemptions) made it impossible to do poorly.

Very dry indeed. Not very much emotion when he speaks, and can get dull and monotonous quickly. Nice guy, but was kind of disorganised ... didn`t give many details on assignments and stuff, and then expected lots from students ... not bad ... not great.
