This professor is nice. She is often slightly unprepared. She included a topic on a mid-term that was not covered in class. Office hours are almost non-existent. She has ALL the solutions to the textbook questions but will only give them out when SHE wants to; this ticked me off because I wanted to get some work done.

Comment:

She's the best accounting prof in the university hands down. However, if your taking the class only to fulfill a requirement and it's not your career stream maybe take it with maggie, because Angela is a tough marker. The tests aren't too bad but, you lose a lot of marks for little mistakes. If you know the material you'll do well.

If you're taking this class to be an accountant you should take it with Davis. If not I'd take it with Liu. Davis really knows her stuff and so will you, but she is a tough marker. Little mistakes really hurt you so you have to know your stuff. That said she is still an amazing prof who makes accounting enjoyable.

Awesome prof! The best in Business at U of W. She makes things so clear and can make a boring subject fun. Going to class is extremely important, she explains everything so much better thean the textbook does. Try to get her if you can for any business class, she's great.

She makes a boring subject somewhat entertaining with games and such. She explains things clearly, and is concerned if you don't understand. Her exams have some curve balls but she usually tests you on stuff that you should have studied. Overall I would reccomend her.

Angela Davis is a really good professor. You will enjoy her classes UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES YOU ATTEND CLASS AND DO TEXTBOOK PROBLEMS. Angela Davis tends to favour the students who come to class, and makes it overt after a test that coming to class is important, she marks fair, and is down to earth (plus her games are fun andf prizes great!)

Angela is smart. She expects her students to be smart. At times I could have gone "faster" in class but she is a compassionate teacher who wants all the students to "get it". I would take her courses again.

Have had her for several classes, and still find her very clear and helpful. Very good at explaining concepts and going over examples. Tests are tough BUT specific - you don't need to know the whole textbook, and she gives great hints as to what to study.

Result from UOW bad finance couldn't find good prof. We are JUST SOOOO UNLUCKY. Even you study 24 hours, be careful, her marking is subjective!!! Poor you Or maybe poor her! Just with a CA doesn't give her respect, must have a very unsuccessful life and the anger bring to poor student, you can feel it.

I took managerial, HRM, auditing and intro bus I with Angela. If you are interested than it should be easy to pay attention. I like the powerpoints so that you can print them and then write extra notes on them as she speaks. One thing to note, tests are very difficult and very specific. Read the text and do MC practice questions from the text site!

Had her for Fin Accting too. Speaks clearly and has always offered extra help if we need it. Before tests, she gives a great review in class to help refresh your memory on the topics you've studied that last three weeks. Really nice.

"That's an excellent question, really tho good question...moving on..." That's how Ms. Davis responds to all and every question. Do you ever get an answer! NO! Fricken NO! She is repetitive, and needs to use a calc. to do basic math. She is a CA and has a MSC and can't even balance a balance sheet. London Fog...that describes her mindspace!

Awful teacher should be fired. Her tests are nothing like her classes. She has no answers for your questions. She's completely unreliable, irresponsible, unfriendly, uncaring, cold and could careless if you understand something. She has no interest in teaching. Avoid asking questions as you only get her confused.
