Teacher is a joke. He's one of those teachers that get his butt whooped in high school. 90% of your grade will be quizes and 10% on 2 essays. I got a B because he rounded an 87.6 down to an 87 and not up to an 88. Needs to loose his ego and accept the fact he is a hopeless cause. All in all though, easy class.

Hes a really nice guy, his heart is always in the right place, but he is a funny one. The class is really easy and interesting. He is always trying to get the class involved and enjoys hearing your opinion. Good Class!

I took dirty business with Prof. Jones. i liked him a lot...he knew what he was talking about and got everyone into the issues he was presenting. my favorite class so far at uvm. All the readings are online so you only have to buy one book for like $15.

A lot of his lectures are hand-written, and most of the test material is on the lectures...so if you plan on missing a lot of classes and don't have someone to bum notes off of, consider taking another class. Otherwise, it was easy; he explained things well. Final was optional (if you were happy w/your current grade). Filled a requirement for A&S.

He teaches us like we are 5 and absolutely stupid. He uses handwritten overheads that are extremely hard to read. The class isnt too difficult if you can stay awake during the lecture..although his irritating voice should keep you awake most of the time.

one of the worst experiences of my life. he made what should have been a really really interesting class into hell. he had an annoying voice, treated us like we were in elementary school, and didn't really have any notes. they were handwritten and scarce at that. there was no review or even mention of exams & it was a very anonymous class STAY AWAY

he uses hand written overheads every day, doesn't have any diff styles of teaching, when talking to the class he sometimes treats us as if we are children, repeating the material two or three times the same way. He uses a red laser pointer which is so annoying. He seems nice but just annoying
