DiPace is the worst teacher I have ever had. She gives assignments without clearly giving instructions. You never know what you're supposed to do. She never gives notes, she sits at her desk and pretty much talks about things non related to the books. I haven't read any of the books in the class and i have a b+. You need half a brain to pass.

Terrible, just terrible. Impossible to understand, does not know how to put notes on a board or even speak clearly so that students can understand and take their own notes. If she teaches a block class STAY AWAY!!! Those will be the longest 3 hours of your life. Do yourself a favor, just stay away.

I found Dr. DiPace to be an insightful and knowledgeable professor. Completing all of the reading was essential to doing well in this class. She gives essay tests but usually gives a few questions to choose from. She does not tolerate disruption in her class or students who don't do all of their work, but hey its college-what do you expect?

She is an awful teacher. She made it very clear to my class that she did not like us and always complained. Her accent makes it difficult to understand her and she did not follow the syllabus at all. The tests are long and difficult and she makes the materials more boring than it already is. Take somebody else for this course.

The most unhelpful teacher I ever had. Said she graded on grmammer not content and it was an english class so I thought and she never handed out any surveys since she knew the class hated her. To much work and nobody even cared after a while it got so bad.

DiPace is a terrible teacher. Worst I have had at SHU. She is very unclear. She hates her job and is very boring. I would never take a class with her again. She does not check or respond to emails and is not in the office during her office hours. She should be booted from the department. AVOID!!!
