Amazing professor! Assigns plenty of readings, but they are all very interesting on today's social media and technology. His classes are mainly lectures and class discussions, but nothing boring! He listens very well and is extremely sweet and caring. I would definitely take a class with him again!

I took his intro to media culture. I had to read more for his class than for my literature.Quiz on every article. Midterm is a paper. Final consists of 3-5 essay questions. As long as you can write you should be fine but If you have a choice don't take him. Over all the material was interesting, Sid is helpful

He is a terrible teacher. All his assignments are reading 30 pages articles and you usually have more than one. Quizzes are all essay questions. Doesn't give notes. I feel like I have learned nothing. The book is from 2 centuries ago. Not relevant today all. DONT EVER TAKE THIS TEACHER IF YOU HAVE THE CHOICE!!!! AWFUL!!!

Great guy! Super enthusiastic. Could talk to him forever about film. But hes a bit of a hard grader and his classes are s0 boring even for a person whos passion is film. He is extremly compulsive when it comes to lap tops and cell phones (hates them and doesnt ever want to see them) you'll want to throw yours at him by the end. SUPER helpful. Nice.

This is guy is really nice, but he is crazy. He is full of energy and occasionally it is really hard to keep up with what he is saying. His tests are pretty ok, but you def have to take notes and read the book. He talks throughout the films, but started not staying for the films B/C if he's there he'll talk. He makes really good brownies!!!

This dude is out of his mind...took the Hitchcock class which I thought would be fun, but turns out it was long and drawn out and will prob. hurt my average. He can not stop talking and the movie normally added 15 minutes to the class one time 30 min. He doesnt give good grades either. Avoid this class, but not a bad guy

Sid is hysterical. It's fun just to watch him. He is full of energy. It's impossible to fall asleep in his class. His tests are impossible. If you like to write , then take his class. Some of the films you'll view are boring while others are interesting. If you're an A student picture yourself as an A-/B student and so on....

Sid is a great guy. For his essay tests just study the notes (write down everything he says in class!) and your notes on movies. He is tough, but you can get an A if you pay attention to the movies. Dont bother with the reading. Do extra credit any time you want. DONT WRITE A PAPER ON HITCHCOCK - HE WILL POINT OUT EVERYTHING YOU DO WRONG :)
