She was a great teacher, but do not, I repeat, do not get on her bad side..you will be picked on the rest of the semester. Very good at teaching, entertaining, funny (although she was unaware). Will also take the time to listen to your concerns/ needs.

worse than usual for an arts course, test evaluation criteria were unclear & evidently left to the marker's own discretion. i'd have preferred a clear rubric, such as Elder & Paul's "universal intellectual standards"---clarity, accuracy, precision, relevance, breadth, depth, & logic---plus further explicit criteria for the interpersonal dimension.

Great counselling teacher! This woman really knows her****! She's extremley approachable and kind. Definitley one of the best teacher's I have ever had. If anybody says she's a bad teacher, its probably because they didn't pay much attention to the class. I'd recommend her to anybody.

She is an interesting lady, who tries to help students become better communicators. Her tests are hard but it is only because she wants you to have a clear understanding of the concepts so you can apply them to your life. I have learned alot from this class and would recommend her to others.

Addendum to 11/26/04: A good teacher for the 2-year-college level, with one major deficiency: she's utterly incompetent with critical or philosophical approaches to the material. In fact, outside of a limited domain of skill-based knowledge, she's downright naive. This is poor preparation for university, where the courses are much more theoretical

Truly amazing. I've never enjoyed a class as much as I enjoyed this one. She's animated, interesting, and definately approachable. The material is interesting, the tests are fair, and I looked forward to completing every assignment. I definately recommend taking this class with her.

Inspiring teacher. High standards. She really knows her stuff, in theory AND practice. Occasionally patronizing to men, but that's probably to be expected on such traditionally female territory. Flakey and naive when drawing on fields outside psychology.

I had her for advanced communication and thought she was a fabulous teacher! Well spoken, easy to follow, good notes, good variety of tests: including m/c, short answer and long answer. She is very approachable and helpfull,a fair marker, also willing to re-consider something you think is unfair.
