Just a really great professor. Theory is so incredibly boring but she managed to actually make it interesting. If you have to take an anthropology class, take one of hers.

She's amazing! I've had her for 2 classes. My first time with hershe was very understanding about handing in a paper late. She is always available through email and marks fairly. Her handouts for essays are clear and helpful. Overall my favorite teacher!

One of my favorite profs! She will definitely make you work and think, but you will learn something that is applicable to take outside the class. If you don't do the readings, you will do noticeably worse than when you actually read them. Tests are fair because questions are given before hand and are relevant to discussions and readings.

Angele is the most outstanding professor that I have ever had.She will not sugar coat her opinion, and she does not hand out grades to those who have not earned them. She is an outstanding teacher and if you get an A in her class you can be proud of it because it actually represents hard work and real learning has occured. She is a great teacher.

Angele is a smart lady, however she tells you to think broadly yet expects you to write in a narrow field. She is very helpfull outside class but is extremely opinionated and will roll her eyes at students when she thinks no one can see her. she also talks about students from one class in another. All in all it's your choice. I did not like her.

Angele is fantastic - get in her class right now! She will make you think, not tell you what to think. She is just amazing. Can not say enough good things about her. She is a hard marker, her expectations are high - but you will deserve the mark you get.

Being a professor to educate those to change the world is definitely a vocation for her. I am very thankful to have had the oppurtunity to have her as my professor

Great prof! Of all the anth profs at UNBC, Angele is probably the one you will learn the most from - but be prepared to work for it. Tests are comprehensive, fairly marked, with no guess work (she gives you the questions ahead of time). An A/A+ is more than achievable - take the time to prepare your answers!

Excellent instructor who focuses a bit too much on class discussion when more can be gained through lecturing (mostly due to class size/chemistry). Fair maker and sets out clear expectations for assignments. 401/601 has the best course texts I've ever read in terms of real-life relevance. There is something at stake and it comes across.

Good lecturer....but her attitude leaves much to be desired. She calls out students for jumping down people's throats, and then pulls the exact same stunt with me during office hours. Get off your high horse, Angele!

Angele always makes sure that everyone is on the same page, without assuming that everyone has the same knowledge base. She's very enthusiastic and informative, and her lectures are usually well-organized. She also manages to gain control when the class discussions get too far out of hand, a plus.

Angele will turn your world inside out; this lady makes you THINK. Angele does not teach you what to think, she teaches you how to think. I would rate her far above most professors at UNBC.
