A real gem. His stories alone are enough to encourage me to get up for his 8 am class. He is proof heavy which worked wonders for me, but not all people learn the same way. He focuses a lot on the comprehension of the core concepts rather than just laying them bare. Get him coffee! A small black from Timmie's is good...

Comment:

Angelo is one of those proffs that can be hard to keep up with. Sometimes he goes too fast with the subject and he can be a little confusing with his "boxes". However if you study enough and understand the subject well you will never have trouble with calculus again. Plus, his stories are just hilarious!!! You can download the book for this course.

Angelo Mingarelli was one of the most amazing professors I have ever had. He is excellent at explaining topics and answering questions. He creates unique methods of solving problems and memorizing concepts. I really appreciated his incredible stories which made it worth attending lectures, though they were essentially the textbook read to us.

Possibly my favourite professor I have had so far. As a first year student, I looked forward to going to his lectures. The course was not terribly challenging, (my friends beg to differ), but he made it look fun, (that we can agree on). Also stay for the entire lecture, when he tells hilarious stories. Also bring him coffee, he loves that.

A great prof! Tests are very similar to the old ones posted online, along with the exam. Super hilarious prof! He will most likely say the word "COFFEE" in every lecture. You can get away by doing great in the class by not going to the lectures as the content from the book is pretty straight to follow.

Great, funny prof. Tests are fair. I suggest reading the textbook and attempting questions before going to the lectures so that the lectures are a useful review, because much of what he does is work through examples. First half of course covers grade 12 calculus, second half integrals.
