Suggest taking notes then reading the chapter, tests are nothing like notes or text you have to know the material and apply it, most of the class is common sense, Wright is cheery and knowledgeable, picky about small things, has trouble rephrasing concepts and examples.

I'm taking her for Speech 114W. First of all, it is a useless class that should not be required. If you have to take it, dont take her. She is very unorganized and does not explain the writing assignments clearly enough for anyone to understand.

Annie is a good teacher,she is very serious about what she teaches and it may seem she has no sense of humor,but she does.Most students who take her class find her to be mean and rude.I never had a problem with her If you do your work on time and pay attention there is no problem.

She gives you exactly whats going to be on the test so it's easy to study and she rarley has homework. She was the worst teacher I have ever had. She was no help what so ever to anyone in the class! If you have to take her just be sure that your outlines are perfect or she will not allow you to give your speech and you'll lose all points for it. She's very rude and it's always going tot be her way and there's no doing other wise! Be ware!

This teacher directs her personal feelings towards the class. She allows her self control to be non apparent. She also has no knowledge of the subject above the "8th" grade level. You're not even able to have an adult converstaion with her. All she wants to do is put up a front and be defensive. If you're genuinely interested in improving your speaking abilities I strongly recommend you looking another way. She grades on opinion and has her thoughts on issues effect her attitude toward the entire class.

Well, I personally don't think she knows what she's talking about. She contradicts herself, and forgets what she's talking about. Tests are long, but super easy to study for. She has you write a 10 pg. paper... about a conversation problem...impossible to do might I add.

very argumentive, has no reasoning skills, blows everything out of perspective, will try to find ways to make you feel wrong, all honesty half of my class dropped, according to her everything about public speaking is in a devito book, very forgetful, out of the 6 people that still show up for class, she looses certain students' homework

I thought this was an easy class and I am not a "good" student. You get to scrap book in her class and it's worth a lot of points. No speeches are given alone only in groups. I received an A in her class and I only studied for her tests a 1/2 hour prior and aced them. Take her!!
