Anna is a very kind person, but this was her first semester teaching this course and she was pretty scatterbrained. She assigns homework, but as long as you attempt it, you'll get a 100. It's a very simple and easy-to-grasp course.

Anna Ward is definitely the worst professor I have had here at App. She is so rude to all of the students and she is so unclear on all of the assignments that she gives to the class. I had high hopes that this class would be fun, but my dreams were left in the dust just like my happiness when I walked in the door to this class.

If you miss more than 3 classes, she begins to take off points (about 3 points of the final grade for each absence). She is constantly unclear with her expectations, and strays from the syllabus on a weekly basis. Her mood changes daily, she's consistently passive aggressive when asked for clarification or assistance. 10 hours of community service.

Anna Ward is by far one of the worst professors I have ever had here at App. She's unclear on assignments and will change the directions on you literally HOURS before it is due. She's unorganized, rude, passive aggressive and extremely difficult to work with. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASSES. It will only make your life more difficult.

She is vague, unclear, and not organized. She can be passive-aggressive and rude. If you ask for clarification on an assignment she doesn't give a straight answer and will confuse you further. The grading scale is arbitrary and based on "effort". Asking for clarification on this makes me "too much of a linear thinker" Just don't worry about it? ah

I HATED THIS CLASS DON'T TAKE IT!! She is a HORRIBLE teacher! Not clear at all with her assignments, she is unorganized, and the class was ALWAYS confused on what was happening in class. I think she is a good person in general, but not at all suited for the class room. Don't take this class and you will avoid unnecessary stress.

This class is for education majors and she teaches it like we are theatre majors. She is rude, belittling, and has an attitude. Lots of busy work, and her deadlines are so unclear. You have to literally dig through asulearn to find your assignment. I have never disliked a professor so much that I would write here, but she is just that awful.

You can tell she really loves what she teaches; however, her expectations are often scattered and unclear. Trying to navigate her asulern site is like going on a treasure hunt. She doesn't verbally tell you when an assignment is due, so you have to constantly check asulearn. Once she posted an assignment due in March in the January section

I took the online version. DO ITTT! sooo easy like forreal so easy and i know nothing about theatre. You dont even have contact with the professor...well you do but its all based off of a CD but seriously im stupid and it was the easiest class i have ever taken in my life. TAKE IT ONLINE!!!!

Just don't do it! We're all education majors and expect to be given dates and guidelines as to what is expected of us. None of that is given in this class. Busy work and impromptu projects that are completely irrelevant to theater. Almost as if she forgot she signed on to helping these said projects and passed them off on us!

This woman has no clue. She is disorganized, gives busy work and revised busy work, treats us as kids, and gives us little to no information until the very last second before a big project is due. Suck up to her. She calls you out for thing you have not even done, and makes fun of you. Be aware, and don't be afraid to stand up to her.

Lack of organization, lack of clarity. Class discussions and tests suffer because she doesn't know what she's asking before it is asked. The class takes some quizzes and assignments online, but her use of the web is completely unfair- you'll find out over a weekend about an assignment due before the next class. Take the course from another teacher.
