Comment:

Clear lectures and very organized. All the PowerPoints are on Blackboard for review and there is a study guide for each chapter; use it and you're guaranteed an A on the quiz or exam. She tosses out test questions that most of the class missed and allows you to retake a test. Otherwise there's just a paper, a 10min presentation, and no final.

Shastri is a fantastic professor! She is easy to understand. She is always willing to help and is open to all students opinions. She is very clear about what chapters tests and quizzes will be on and is very good about moving test dates if she does not think students are ready. She posts chapter study guides on blackboard as well.

Comment:

Shastri is a very nice and cute lady. Her quizzes and tests are very difficult but if a lot of people in the class miss a question she will give everyone credit. She allows retakes for both of the tests and there is no final. She allows a lot of room to improve your grade. There is one paper and one presentation. I'd definitely recommend her

This class is not for people who struggle with tests. The tests and quizzes are extremely hard, she tells you pretty much the whole chapter will be on the quiz... its not. She is confusing, does not give alternative assessments and I would not suggest taking her.

Yea, shes nice, it's great. But her quizzes and tests are out of control. Even if u study you will do bad. If you are bad at test taking like me DO NOT take her. She is really cute and nice and understanding I will give her that.

This will be the longest class of your college career. Shastri, on the other hand is very sweet and polite in manner. She tries to make her students laugh with stories about POKEMON and her favorite snowblower. Shes a sweetie, but be prepared for tough quizzes and tests!
