Like having your favorite aunt for a professor, but don't be fooled get your assignments in on time!! Take the time and do a good paper. Professor Beck doesn't miss a thing, she is sweet, and will be honest with you. She is a tough grader, but she is fair your grade will reflect your work. She has a love for students, and what she teaches.

I loved Debby. If there was ever a problem with an assignment she would immediately respond to any emails. She actually cares about her students which made me want to go to class knowing I was welcomed. She made assignments due whenever which was good and bad.

Debbie Beck was one of my favorite professors. When I went to Wheelock, I was interested in becoming a Special Education teacher. When I took a social work class with Prof. Beck, I "converted" and have been enjoying the social work field ever since!!! She is a great teacher & advisor. Really takes an interest in student's well being & education.
