A good person in general But not a good prof. Constantly getting mad and yelling at students with make her look nice. Needs to have Moreno patience. She grades really tough. Too much expectations

I really enjoyed the material covered in this class. But be prepared for homework and speaking in front of the class. Also, be prepared for the ridiculous midterm. Really specific questions (ex. know percentages, dates, names, basically every specific detail) You will get marked wrong for spelling a name wrong. Also NO respect for her students.

This French professor is strongly lacking in RESPECT to her student. She is not patient. If a student cannot answer a question or have slower response, she just show her impatience to us and keep moving on and do not care about the student. If you ask her a question again because you still don't understand, she won't give you a happy face!!!

Excellent prof. She is very patient and gives a great course. I actually learned to speak French. Enjoyed the experience even if there is a lot of work. It's worth it as I am no longer affraid to speak in French.

I didn't mind her all that much, yeah the homework was a massive pain, but i DID learn alot. If you dont attend class you get picked on and singled out. if she notices you're day dreaming she will single you out. BUT if you do the homework, and attend class your french skills WILL improve massively. she does do her job.

She singles people out, she gives hours upon hours of homework every night even though we were ahead of the other class, she doesnt go over the topics very well and then ecpects you to know them for the next class. ugh. where to begin? she gave us so much work that by november the other french profs told her to slow down because she was a full week ahead of their classes. funny sometimes, but snobby if she feels you're not worldly. be prepared to be called on each and EVERY class at least 5-10 times. i'm in engineering,and this course took up most of my time

Brown, I'm sure, is a good teacher for the upper level classes.She's witty and has interesting world experiences.But she should definitely not be teaching first year courses. Has a habit of making you feel dumb if your prior french education hasn't been all that snazzy,and gives a TON of homework. Oral exam final is a killer.

Anne is one of the few professors who actually cares for her students. She takes interest, has conversations and is a great person whom cares for our future. Anne makes it her mission to teach french properly and make you realize that problems in society still exist and it's time to do something about it. Great person.
