Comment:

She is one of the reasons the PR program at Grant MacEwan has a poor reputation. She has industry experience but has little ability as a teacher. I would advise students looking at this program to go elsewhere. Take it from a graduate: Murray Page, Maureen Wagner, Leah Lechelt and Anne-Marie Downey are not qualified nor are they respected in PR.

Everyone loves her, but she is a poor instructor. While she may be great in the PR world, she doesn't have the academic qualifications or acumen to teach properly. Just because you like someone doesn't mean you're actially learning something from them. However, she fits in well with the GMC PR program (ie: unprofessional).

I'm surprised to see neg comments about her. The mention of her name in a group setting sets off the kind of reaction you'd expect for a rock star. She knows her stuff, yet never comes across as a know-it-all. The humour around her stories of what she's done wrong in her early years in her PR career will not soon be forgotten.
