Great prof! She cares a lot about students doing well in her course and is very helpful when you e-mail her or go to her office with questions about exams. Reading the textbook is necessary and there is a 10% participation mark rewarded if you go to class and do the mini-assignments. Would definitely recommend taking a class with her!

Probably the best prof of my entire sociology degree. If you try in her course, and she sees it, she will help. The opposite is can be said for not putting the effort in. Go to class, read the book, do assignments and you'll be just fine. She's also a sweetheart.

VERY GOOD PROF! Very interesting course material, and the prof cares about her students. She learns everyone's name, and loves to bring local topics into the course to make it more interesting and understanding. Would recommend this prof to anyone. Not a hard course, and very interesting!!

By far the best prof I had last term and I would highly recommend her class. I AM a social work student and she stimulated my interest in the subject. She gave me a great mark but I had to work for it! I hope to have the pleasure of taking another of her classes.

Do not take a course with this woman if you are a social work student. Everyone is bitter when they do not get into the faculty that they want. Just because I am a social work student does not mean that I am better than anyone else. It must be at least 20 years ago. Get over it!

I took a number of courses with Anne. I think she is an excellent prof. She can have her days...but everyone has a bad day at times...can't dis someone for that. The papers and her marking are reasonable, and as long as you get the work done you will be fine. She has given me a wonderful reference.

this professor has two personality's! One minute she is quite approachable and the next she's like condescending and very snobish. Notes straight from the book! Tests are ok! However she is a very picky and hard marker! if you miss a class, you are screwed!Also has her favorite students!
