Yes she is bit strict in terms of what she expects but once you get her way of teaching and take feedbacks continuously she helps a lot and you can get As. Project is highest percentage among all exams but if you work for it she gives full. Also, material is a lot so get ready to read. If you read and attend classes you are good to go.

Condescending professor who bases her midterms off anything that comes to her mind and not through the lecture notes. Has had midterms with questions worth 10 or 20 marks out of a 70 total mark midterm. Takes half or full marks off if it is not the way she wants you to answer it. Do not take her class.

She is worst, she thinks we are robot that we can write the long answers so quick . Comeon who gives long questions with awful marking pattern of 40,80 and 20. She is not at all organised. She says do your time management, skip the questions and come back later but thats of no use if you have only 2 hour to complete the exam.

We just had another midterm today and it was catastrophic. After the first midterm, she admitted that her test was too hard and decided to omit the FIB. She said she would make our exam four essays instead but when each essay has 3 or 4 subdivided questions, it is impossible to finish. Each question was out of 10 - 20 marks. Unfair? It was hard.

She requires extreme amounts of detail but provides vague questions for her assignments and midterms. She told us what the format of the midterms would be. The format was exactly the opposite! I don't know why she bothered telling us in the first place. She's too lazy to update her midterms and there are so many errors that can easily confuse you.

Exams are not super difficult, if you're not a genius. However, fill in the blanks are very vague and sometimes grammatically incorrect so not sure what she is trying to refer to. No word bank is given, so you either need to know the exact wording or she probably won't take it. Her class is worth a shot though if you are not looking for an easy A.

We just did her first midterm today. She told us not to study the lecture slides and focus on the textbook. There were 7 chapters. All the fill in the blank was from the slides ! Shes very disorganized. You dont know what she wants even when she tells you. 57 fill in the blanks without a word bank. The questions were very vague and general.

Just had the first midterm of 2231, the class is supposed to teach us about sport psyc and the first question of the exam was : what do sport psychologists not study _______. like seriously? She literally had 57 Fill in the blanks with each one of those containing 2-3 blanks AT LEAST with no word bank and NO MC UNREASONABLE PROFESSOR, Do NOT take!!

Comment:

There is a lot of content and chapters Anne tries to cover to fit into each exam. She emphasizes application of the theories and processes for her exams. The content of the course is interesting and very applicable to life, but expects a lot of detail when relating back-and-forth between the theory and examples in sport. Be prepared to write a lot.

The course content is fairly straight forward and she expects you to know a lot and be detailed. However, her expectations are not unreasonable. If you write exactly what she says from her slides and ask questions to clarify theories and details, you'll receive a good mark and do well in her class.

After Anne teaches you off the lecture slides (while constantly talking about how good she was in gymnastics) she'll expect you to go home and review and read the chapter and memorize/learn it all). She has problems giving labs/assing back on time. She loves short answer questions and also loves not giving you marks if its not how she wants it.

Can't figure out scantrons so expect to end up spending 45 minutes manually marking the scantrons or have all of your exam questions be short answers. She is an unreasonable marker and expects you to know it as well as she does. This is notable when she goes through the lectures as fast as she can like we have heard all of the info before.

midterms quite confusing, has trouble understanding her own questions, ends up removing them anyways, doesnt give back midterms until 2 weeks has passed cuz she has trouble w/ scantron sheets. her notes she gives out are outdated (2013), missing quite some info so we end up just printing them ourselves from the pwrpt files. lecs are pretty boring
