The absolute worst instructor I've ever had. Not just in university - ever. Just a horrible experience overall. Avoid at all costs.

Wow. That is all I have to say. Harry is by far the worst prof I've had. His lectures are a complete bore and his handouts are illegible. The man uses a projector to teach and speaks very monotonously. I wouldn't recommend it.

You have to go to every class because he doesn't use d2l and everything he says in class will be on the midterm. Class is divided into one research paper, one midterm, and one final. There's no class discussions, just a boring, dry lecture. The actual class material is not hard at all but the class is boring to go to

Harry's 2252 class was interesting. Not many assignments, a research paper worth 30%, a midterm and final both with 150 MC questions worth 35%. Make sure you keep up with the readings because all the exam questions are based from the textbook. Doesn't use d2l. You should be able to get a B or over as long as you try.

He'll say just study notes and handouts but that's a lie. Study the textbook, all the application questions are straight from the textbook examples. His lectures are very soft spoken also, difficult to hear him even if you sit at the front.

You basically have to attend all the lectures and write everything he says in his class. The summer course consisted of a midterm and final with 150 multiple choice questions, as well as a research paper, each weighing 33% of your grade. DEFINITELY READ THE TEXTBOOK BECAUSE A MAJORITY OF THE EXAM QUESTIONS WILL COME OUT OF THERE. GOOD LUCK.

Worst prof at Langara. By far. He is completely useless as an instructor, and cannot properly explain a concept to save his life. Worst of all - he actually lies about what is going to be on his tests. I guess he's trying to make his course seem challenging to make up for the fact he can't teach. Sad.

Super smart and laid back. harry pulls up late, takes out his projector slides from like 1955 and drops some knowledge. He knows what he is talking about and is super clear as to what to expect on the next midterm. 4 midterms worth 25% each and no assignments, go to every class and take good notes and you will do well. PS do not buy the text

Harry is a wonderful prof and incredibly knowledgeable. Write down everything he says - its all testable, however he focuses on main concepts. Cross reference what he says in class with the textbook. Youll need to work hard to get an A because you need to know the material. I would definitely take again- his tests are straightforward.

Overall really good prof! the class is tough and the midterm was difficult. Pay attention to detail, attend every class and read topics in the text to get a better idea of what he is teaching in class. You defiantly have to work hard for a good grade.

Harry Lendvoy is by far the worst instructor I've ever had. This is coming from the son of two university profs. Picture a retiree incoherently rambling on for two hours, frequently going off topic, and ignoring students' questions. He then tests you on material that he never actually taught. If that sounds appealing to you, take his class.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AND AVOID, again. Really bad lectures, all his handouts are almost completely useless. It seems like he trys to make it difficult for all the students on purpose even though it is an intro course. The exams are all worth 25% which is bad because his exams have questions about things he never mentioned in class.

Avoid this guy. I only wish I had more characters to describe how awful he is. He is a terrible lecturer. He has poor structure to his classes. And he is unapproachable. Many of his 'handouts' (and I use that term loosely) were illegible, and look like they were printed in the 1980's. The class essentially amounted to being a self-directed study.

He's traditional in the sense that he doesn't use powerpoints or online communication tools. If you miss a class, you miss a lot of info because the entire class is notes and he doesn't upload notes or dwell on previous lectures. He weirdly announces the students with the best test results each exam too. Not awful, not amazing either.

Go to class, take lots of notes. First midterm (25%) is tough (best mark in class was 76%) but gets easier. Don't study all of the material in the text; instead use it as a reference to what he mentions in class. ie if he talks about it in class look it up in the textbook. 1 research paper (10%) that is easy marks, 1 lab exam (30%) and final (35%)

Harry is a nice man and really knows Sport Medicine inside and out. I enjoyed this class, but his overhead projector and handouts from the 70's are totally dated. The whole class was surprised at how hard he marked the midterm. His lectures are unorganized and note-taking is challenging. Text book not necessary. Study the handouts and know anatomy.

Harry is a wonderful professor, such a bright personality as he's always smiling and has a pretty good sense of humor. Teaching wise he is phenomenal. He breaks down all the tough concepts and makes it easy to understand. He's a fair marker since he gives part marks. Oh and he tells you exactly what's going to be on the exam a week beforehand.

Very knowledgeable but tends to go off on tangents and over explain concepts so you stop paying attention and then starts saying important things again. He brings up notes on the projector that we don't have notes to accompany. Lots of exams and you have to fully understand concepts to do well. Doesn't answer questions in class which is frustrating
