She's a nice woman but can be stubborn at times. Often will cut off students mid-speech, but not always necessarily a bad thing. A lot of extraneous floof that she demands of her students as well

This is a special teacher. She is very funny and makes the lectures amazing. You wont fall asleep in this class for sure. She is kind of a tough grader, and it is a lot of tasks to do.

This professor doesn't teach how to give good speeches. To pass this class, you have to write bad speeches that follow her criteria. She can be rude and interruptive. You'll probably hate this class. Don't take it early in the morning.

Was really one of the best professors I had at Pace. Annette not only helped me on my organizational skills, she also helped me have an awesome job interview which ultimately landed me the job. I am so glad I took her class. She is not the easiest grader but works with you in order to get you to be the best you can be. She is also very funny.

Although this class was not difficult, Professor Joseph was outstanding. She is a tough grader but gives you ample amount of time to get help from her as well as go over your assignments in class. She is strict but one of the best Professors I've ever had at Pace.

Did not give a clear explanation of any task all semester. Cannot understand how she grades.If you try to clarify something she will simply state that she has been doing this for 16 years and you are wrong. Is often very rude, makes students do tasks for her. The class has nothing to do with how to give a good speech it is only about outlines.

Not always clear about what she wants. Make it easy on yourself and just do what she wants and don't argue with her. She can be super nice but doesn't seem to do well with defiant students. Make sure to follow outline examples and instructions. Final/Midterm = easy A for 10% of your grade and 10% for attendance

She is inconsistent, insensitive and rude. She pretends to use the textbook even the the large majority of the course material is common sense. She is, ironically, difficult to communicate with. She does NOT listen during speeches and makes rude comments. She is a terrible professor. STAY AWAY

Stay away from this professor. I got all As on my speeches except one and she gave me a B+ for the year. She doesn't make any sense when giving directions and if you try to ask questions you will only get more confused. She is unfair. Stay away!

I don't think anyone likes her. She's mean and rude. She'll cut you off during your speech to correct you instead of letting you finish. If you choose a topic for a speech there's no way she'll let you change it. She has favorites and I'm not one of them.

Im pretty sure she teaches the COM 200. You will learn a lot. Pay a lot of attention in order to do things as she wants them. She puts equal importance to delivery of speech and the actual outlines created. Those speeches were harder than any essay i ever had to do. NOT for everyone (half of my class dropped it for being too early - stay awake)

She is HORRIBLE!!!! Everything has to be her way or the high way... and she is not even very clear on what she expects of you. I busted my a** for this class, did everything she had said and i still just got a B. She is a very hard grader, has favorites, is disrespectful, and seems to enjoy putting her students down. To those who did poorly in her class, that justs means you were lazy. I admit she did give alot of speaches and manadatory is a must, but if you do everything she asked you got your A. she knows a lot about the subject but she's horribly disorganized, doesn't know how to handle her class, and makes life incredibly stressful for the students. do not take her for public speaking unless you absolutely have to...she piles on the work for something that should be an easy A.
