Good teacher wont argue there but take more than one class with her and you will want to bang your head against the wall. WOW, does this lady teach the SAME THING, OVER AND OVER. Any class taken with her will be about the same topic. Coursework is a joke just put anything down as long as its about women and you will get an A .

BE ON TIME AND BE THERE. She values respect a lot. She is a fabulous professor who very truly cares for her students. She is also very smart and experienced. She takes the class to coffee. A great class for anyone who is prefers straight up learning over busy work. Just pay attention and digest what is talked about and you will do great!!!

Because it was a 100 level class Dandavati graded easy but the class was A LOT of work. She's very kind to her students and took us out to eat and to get coffee multiple times. I loved her so much I'm taking a class with her next semester.

Wonderful woman! Has a lot to say, but very willing to engage students as well. It seems that she's been everywhere, met everyone, and done everything - she's incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable. She's also very kind and really for desires her students to learn. Easily one of the best professors at Hope!

She will talk your ears off.. she will use up every minute of class time talking without student interaction. Don't take this if you're not a Pol Sci major. Lots of boring reading, two huge papers and projects, and a big finals. Not an enjoyable class.

She'll talk, oh she'll talk. Be ready to listen and not have any sort of lesson plan. But it won't be boring, she's a knowledgable woman and it shows. If you're crazy about structure and grades, look out. Otherwise have fun and take advantage of her helpfulness out side of class.

Dandavati certainly knows her stuff. I do wish she'd lay off India for a while. The class is discussion based, but since we're in low desks, all facing forward, and since our textbook is crap, it's hard to have stimulating talks. She does well -- she could help focus unfocused material.
