So the thing is he had exceptionally easy tests but he was the worst lecturer there ever was. Go on his outlines and go to khan academy for everything you don't understand. If he has yield percent on the outline and you don't understand YouTube or khan. He almost gives you the answers on the test. Just know it well enough and you will pass.

This class was way too easy compared to CHEM 101 and 102, Wambsgans literally prints out all of his lecture notes and hands them to you before he goes over them.. Everything on the exams are what he talks about and if you need any additional help understanding- just read the textbook. Labs were also really easy so that was a grade booster

Lab was enjoyable with him. He did give like 1-2 hour lectures before the experiments often, but he genuinely cares about chemistry and his students. He is always on top of every safety thing. He basically waited to grade everything at the end of the term, but he cared that everyone learned in the labs. He is nice, caring, smart, and grades easy.

Horrible lecturer. I attended every lecture and learned absolutely nothing from him. All of the learning had to be done from the book. Designs horrible tests; barely tests on the tough, real, and applicable concepts. Instead, he selects trivial facts that only appear in 1-2 sentences from the book. Lazy test only based on 20 questions.

Material is incredibly difficult to learn, and especially when you can barely understand a word he is saying. He uses an overhead projector and frequently makes mistakes, leaving a jumbled mess on the screen. Easily the worst professor I've had at Drexel. Does not curve AT ALL, tests are 25 minutes and crazy hard.

Tony doesn't have any front teeth. It makes explaining organic chemistry a bit more challenging. He introduced lab by discussing all of the ways you can get hydrochloric acid in your eyes. He decided to make lab an extra hour without asking any of the students. Genuinely enjoyed hiking.

Nice guy. Hard to understand. Very respected and very knowledgeable . He means well but if you do happen to come to his lecture, which no one does, you have a 75% chance of falling asleep

Had him as a lab TA and he only graded 1 of our labs. Didn't put final grades in on time and made up some excuses like "Some of you didn't put down your right ID number". Don't take him if you don't have to.

Old man who clearly should have retired years ago. Puts no lecture notes or any assignments online to look over. His lectures are horrible and outdated. I would not recommend taking this professor.

I took an Orgo Lab with Wambsgans. He is all over the place. He's super airy and half the time I didn't know what he was saying. He gave us one set of grading critera at the beginning and completely changed it halfway through (we ended up submitting everything at the end: lab notebooks and reports). However, he is super smart and hilarious.

Recitations are extremely helpful, they are required (but not lectures, obviously) but they are what will help you succeed in the class. Notes from the book won't actually help you that much, but you should probably pay attention if you're a science-major as everything builds on each other. He's helpful though, OFFICE HOURS!

Wambsgans is probably one of my favorite professors here definitely looks interesting and teaches pretty well. Made CHEM 101 seem easier than I heard. As far as grading goes he's pretty fair and will help you if you show interest in helping yourself.

There is SO much to cover and you study for 5 hours for the test and it turns out to be only 20 questions..... The final exam is CRAZY HARD, but everyone fails, so he curves it and you end up with all wrong answers but a good grade....!

he's a great proffessor who really cares about his students, sure he may not be the most audiable teacher but his proceedure and expressions are clear. He keeps the class intersting by relating some of the subject matter to obscure but intriguing aspects of every day life which really gets you thinking. he's a golden resouce, take him.

Wambsgans is the best professor ever. Although he mumbles and rambles sometimes (which makes the class more interesting) his lecture is pretty clear, and his exams are fair. If you need help, he will definitely go all out to help you and make sure you understand the material. Take him if you can!
