Probably my favorite teacher I've ever had. Genuinely cares about each student. He's hilarious and makes the classroom a comfortable space so you don't feel scared to participate. Whole course is basically a laid back discussion which helps you get better at REAL convos in spanish. I'm gonna miss him and the class so don't miss out!! TAKE HIM

Malave is awesome. An easy class you actually want to show up to. His work isn't too hard and is actually interesting and enjoyable. People who do not like to participate beware because he picks on people randomly. So funny if you are a native speaker as he is easy to relate to. Do the work + participate and he'll reward you in return.

Simply the Best!! He is so full of energy and loves what he does. He will always take your opinion into consideration, and he is very understanding. You will love him, if you keep up with his pace (which is very reasonable) and if you show interest in the class. The books and readings that he picks are all interesting. Take him! :)

Cruz-Malave is a great first year spanish teacher. Every class is always so full of energy and every presentation is done with conviction. Sometimes goes a little fast for the newcomers, but if you read up on what you did after class with him or by yourself you should have no problem. Fair grader, essays make you learn, tests can get confusing.
