All you do in this class is build a massive Excel sheet. Handouts are given out before class and you just input equations into Excel. Equations all build on each other, so everything has to be right. For exams, basic inputs like tire patch weights, wheelbase etc are given, you use these inputs in your Excel sheet to calculate vehicle dynamics stuff

Very hard to understand bc of his accent and he doesn't talk loud. If u get him in the fishbowl sit up front or u will not get understand. He is not very thorough of material and speeds thru it. When u ask for help he isn't clear. 60 on a test u will get a 65. If u show up and do hw u will pass but his grading scale is weird. Wouldnt take again.

He is a nice guy, but he is not a thorough Prof. Unless you have had some background in the statics, I would advise you NOT to take him. He didn't offer extra credit and lots of people were confused during his lectures.

Dynamics with Mazzei was rather entertaining and fun. I didn't seem to learn as much as I would've liked to, and didn't do amazing on tests, but with the curve, and the homework, walked out of the class with an A-. Mazzei is funny, so prepare to laugh a lot during class.

A very good guy, competent, funny, eager to help, fair grader, and patient. I am horrible at UG but with the help of him and friends I did well in the class. I never saw anyone who put any effort into an assignment get lower than a 92. He is very competent with UG and is understanding even when you don't know what you're doing. Best prof around.

He's a good guy. He conveyed the subject of the material very well to the class. He enjoys teaching and it shows because Dynamics was actually interesting because of him. Do the group hw, follow through with him and you'll be fine. However, I hope he knows that formula sheets would be nice for the future. There's no way you can remember those!

1st test is insanely harder than what he taught in class.. Lets you retake the test if most people did bad... Second test was a cake walk... 80% of the class ended up with a grade in the mid 90's.... No final exam just a easy final group project..

I got a 50 on the first test, a 70 on the second, and maybe an 80 on the exam. I also did all the extra credit. What grade did I get? A 96! Classes are short and too the point. Not a very through prof, but you'll pass with 90+ if you do ex credit.

Dynamics- Great guy... but the PE exam is horrible; no partial credit. He doesn't want to fail anyone so you should pass- just don't count on enjoying the class.
