This is by far the worst professor I've had. I'm currently taking a 1 credit course and I'm receiving more homework than my 3 credit English class. He is consistently unclear with what needs to be done and has Teaching Assistants do much of the work outside of class.

Yes, his lectures are definitely an experience. He does go on long tangents that make no sense and his class, especially learning, can be very difficult. You do need to read his book in order to do well and he's not afraid of putting difficult questions on his tests. However, he does really care. I've taken 4 classes with him. love him

I took this class because it was the only one really open. Went to him for help because I was failing (keep in mind I did all the readings and studied), he belittled me during the entire appointment and never actually helped. Goes on pointless tangents throughout class and you have no idea what he is even talking about half the time.

He's a really nice guy but the tests are unnaturally hard. I understand the info but he tries to trick you with the tests. class is not mandatory, but if you don't go or read the book, you WILL fail. I do NOT recommend

Most pointless class I have ever taken. Terrible teacher. Wayy too much work for a one credit class. Said the grading system was a certain way, but ended up grading in a different way than on the syllabus... This class had me change my original major, thanks!

Dr. Levy is honestly adorable and anyone who thinks he's a bad professor is just unwilling to do the work. He's such a kind, intelligent, caring man and he tries hard to inspire his students to do better. Yes, you have to read to pass, but it's a 2,000 level psych course and if you can't take the course load then get out.

Honestly the worst professor I've had. This is the most pointless one credit class I've taken. It had more work and assignments than my 6 credit honors course. If I didn't love psychology, this class would make me change my major. Not to mention Levy annoys the heck out of me. -10/10 do not recommend. If there's any way to avoid this class, AVOID.

He was an amazing professor for this course. Really introduces the topic of psychology. He was also my advisor, so he tried to help you as much as he could. There were 10 quizzes and couple of assignments but if you do everything and actually read all the readings, this will be an easy A class for you.

This is a helpful class to take in terms of the topic, but I wish it were taught by someone who was a better lecturer. His classes involved him putting up slides full of info straight from the textbook, giving you .05 seconds to read them, and then says "any questions?" and moves on to the next slide. Never enough time to take notes. Don't take him

Yes, Dr. Levy is a very hard teacher, but he's an excellent professor. He tells his students the truth and he demands you work for your grade. Reading the textbook is a MUST and if you ask him, he will go above and beyond to help you.

Took him for learning - horrible. Don't take him unless you are an A+ student. He was rude to students who didn't excel or had trouble in his class... which is discouraging. Plus he wrote his own book that doesn't even really make too much sense and is confusing. He is nice as a person but other than that... AVOID.

This class seemed to be a waste and brought my GOA down which sucked. He was uncleared and had favorites and wasnt understanding of anything. The exams were hard because you had to memorize everything. Dont take it unless you can devote all your time to studying.

His class is interesting, but his exams are difficult. You need to study like a **** for it. His labs are way too much fun,you get to work with the albino rats! we don't shock them, never did. People, you get to train them to do things, try getting your dog to do that!!
