VERY AWESOME professor!! I did really well in the class and actually learnt things i'm going to need in o. chem. If you have him be very grateful. he knows his stuff and applies to everyday life too. And he gives you a lot of opportunities to raise your grade. He helped me fall in love again with chemistry:)

This guy is amazing. Excellent at explaining things and points out things that will be on tests. Assigns huge bonus packet at the end of semester. Great guy and actually cares about students. Thank your lucky stars that you have him!

Excellent professor! After not doing so well in Gen Chem 1, I worried about how I would hold up in Gen Chem 2, but Prof Gericke made the class fun and interesting. His exams are long answer rather than multiple choice but I loved that, and he also gives you all the equations with the exam. And I aced the course!

If I had the chance to retake his class, I would do so in nothing short of a heartbeat. He is quite possible the best professor I have ever had. He is super nice and extremely funny, like when he said that a hole will open up in the carbon' Take him at all costs

Made chemistry bearable. Gives equation sheets to use on tests. Posts notes online, and will go over everything until you get it. Lots of class participation expected though. Still a great teacher, and a really nice guy. Take his class!

He is not too bad. Nice enough guy who expalins the material pretty well and who will usually provide you with help if you need it But this is not a class you can afford to slack off in, esp since his tests are all problem solving. Make sure you do the hw, take good notes, and you should be fine.

Dr Gericke is HILARIOUS. he's got such a fun sense of humor, which is nice b/c most chem teachers are.. well, boring. if you pay attention and take notes, his class is easy.
