Easy enough class if you put in the effort. Extremely helpful in office hours. Goes off on tangents relevant to the STEM fields, but not necessarily the class. Only concern is whether I learned enough MATLAB for the future. If not, I should be able to figure it out with what I learned in the class.

Dr. Draut is a very smart man but it is his time to retire. He babbles about nothing important all class and when he does try to teach he just ends up confusing himself. Easy A but you will NOT learn anything from any of his classes.

Much was a review having taken high school physics. Mostly basics that i believe an educated adult should have a very basic understanding of. Not specifically relevant to just pilots. His experience and stories as a pilot do make for interesting classes. Overall pretty easy class. Exams open homework and open book.

Didn't come out with a single bit of gained knowledge. He rambled about his war stories (which would be interesting over a beer), but rarely touched on the subject material. Extremely easy A if you took physics in high school, it was more or less review.

Waste of time. I had previously thought I would enjoy physics but the subject is totally dead to me now. The time he does try to teach ends up being the last 5 minutes of class. Pretty much gives stories the whole class and barely explains anything he does. Save your time and money and get a different teacher. Life's too short.
