-Incredibly hard to read his notes off the board -won't respond to emails about setting up an appointment to meet him outside of class -didn't have final marks out until a week and a half after they were released -often makes mistakes when showing an example of a problem resulting in incorrect notes if you do notice and correct him - I could go on

He uses no textbook, so you have to write everything down. His writing is small and hard to read sometimes. His clarifications are often long, roundabout ways of stating the exact same thing. He also expects students to figure out some material on their own, so if you don't, this could hurt in an exam. Skipping class will leave you confused.

The course is great. I definitely recommend it. The professor is a good instructor but gave a long midterm. Like there was nothing on it that I didn't know how to do. I just couldn't write fast enough. Piece of advise: memorize the characteristic tables and the first 15 binary numbers, will save you time in the exam.

In past courses (Comp 3724 and 3725) he was okay because they were focused on theory. However, Deb has the tendency to stubbornly talk over you and not even allow students to finish their questions. While I was explaining something to him, he literally yelled over me before I could finish.

Loves to hear himself talk. Didn't even get close to finishing all the material. Does not provide enough examples, and doesn't use a textbook. Unwilling to help in any way outside class. Marks answers that confuse him as wrong. Be prepared for a random bad mark even if you study. I studied, did fine in the course, and learned nothing.

After completing a years worth of classes with this professor I am still unsure whether he is all there mentally. Was very sad I wasted good money to attend this usless class where all we do is hand copy notes containing 40 year old material.
