IMO he's the best- using film clips to demonstrate his points and not relying on a book to give you the realities of the film medium. He's a funny guy and does film acting himself so he teaches from experience. I enjoyed his wit and definitely thought he was hot-really awesome blue eyes and expressive voice/fit bod.

I Loved this class, Good intro to anyone who is a EMF major. He gives 6 quizes, midterm, final. And 1 project, 10pg screenplay, make a video or audio project(you choose 1, if you are smart do the screenplay it is easiest) Book is never used,so dont buy it. Amazing man. Much experience in the industry. Very knowledgable. Plays many video samples to provide examples for concepts and techniques he references. Just amazing. He's great. He enunciates clearly. I wish every professor was like him.

The first thing I ever heard him say was to the extent of "My job in this class is to teach you on how to be good at whatever area of film you are aiming for, so that when you make it big you can pay me back by giving me a job." The class was smooth sailing from then on. One of the best Film classes at TU

Was a great professor. Knew his stuff about film and media production. Watched a LOT of film clips and they were all on videos (with the occasional 16MM film). Tests are super easy. The textbook that we had to buy for class I never used - it was $90 bucks that I could've used for other things.

my favorite class of the semester. take good notes- forget the pretty book. makes class interesting- and it NEEDS to be for a 3hr class. really knows his stuff. on his test- if it sounds like BS- it is BS- pick something else. he'l work with you to turn in assignments.ask to watch the video of him with a FRO at the end of the year-- its excellent

THE BEST TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD! Not only he is an amazing and interesting teacher, he also knows his stuff. He is great at what he does. He used to be an actor, so he makes class very interesting. I wish I could take him for other classes too. LOVE LAUPUS!!! JUST LOVE HIM TO DEATH, he is awesome and I look forward to his class every week. Hot man!!

Great teacher, its the kind of prof I looked forward to coming into towson. Knows his stuff, REALLY. Learn from him! Advice: Take notes extensively, and study exclusively from them. Forget the book, maybe three quiz questions from it all year. PAY ATTENTION, write down everything he says, look at it before a quiz, and you will do fine.

This class was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. All quizzes and exams questions are from the notes so you don't have to bother with the textbook. He has a dry sense of humor that makes the class a lot of fun. Also, after he lectures about something, he will show clips from movies to demonstrate and reinforce what he is saying.

This is the best professor I've ever had!!! He is extremely interesting and knows a lot about Film. He used to be an actor, so we have plenty of "live performances" that make the class extremelly fun!! Take him! He is worth it! I wish he would teach other course so that I could take him again!
