Prof is very into his topics. But it would be nice if he allowed for students to differ in opinions. I know sociology professors are supposed to give their opinion on the subject they are teaching, but this guy likes it only if you write papers agreeing with his opinions. Felt the last days of class was a repetition

i took a class with tav years ago and ran into this site and had to say what a wonderful experience it was. tav is knowledgable, and challenging. expect lots of reading and writing, but also an engaged, informed teacher. he will make you look at the world in different ways--if you put in the effort
