Comment:

Worst math teacher ever. Pretty much impossible to pass her tests unless you spend 15 hours a week studying and doing homework. Her final basically makes or breaks you and she forgot to bring her OWN final in and took another teacher's. She said her final would be multiple choice but the final she took had a 2x points on the response questions.

Comment:

I did well in this class but I understand why students disliked her class. She will make you sit in assigned seats and she treats you like an child during tests. It is difficult to take notes due to her horrible handwriting and she gets very distracted and unclear at times. She requires flash cards which helps to learn the required vocab on tests.

Where do I began.. First let me say DO NOT TAKE HER, even if you need this class really bad and she is the only one available DO NOT TAKE HER. I am speaking from experience. Her online homework IS long and POINTLESS, irrelevant to her tests. She MAKES us make flashcards for our tests which we can not even USE on the test,

Teaches vocab that she writes illegibly then scrolls away before you can decipher. You cannot just use ones from book. Yells at you for NOT asking questions and yells at you FOR asking questions. Says quetions take up too much time-something she does often with, “when I was at Berkeley” stories. Beyond petty when it comes to test, HW is useless.

Don't take this class if you want the easy A. In class she will teach mostly vocab and theory. Expect to spend at least 10-15 hours per week outside of class on homework and studying. Don't expect an A on any test because they are extremely high level and long. Very smart but surly.

Not a teacher you want. Her head is always in the clouds and she'll admit that. I am a hard working student but everyday I come in and about ten minutes into her lecture I give up because she is so confusing and makes tangents with all her vocabulary articulations..very confusing teacher

Shes a nice person and all, but its very hard to understand her most of the time because she is always confusing for herself, and often does not even know what she is teaching. 1/2 of test is vocabulary which is half of your grade. Expect to be treated like a child because you will have a seating chart.

Consider yourself warned! She made a seating chart for our class. The first page of her tests are always vocab, and the rest are hard problems. Her lectures consist of vocab.. And then she assigns hw on MyMathLab, so make flashcards and do ur hw and you'll pass. Take if ur ok with teaching yourself because all you'll learn from her are definitions!

Math 41, Summer Quarter (Accelerated): Professor Moise is obviously a very intelligent person who is very knowledgeable and passionate about her subject, but her class is very difficult. If you?re not good at math, get easily frustrated, distracted, or if you cannot commit a minimum of 30 hours per week studying for this class, don't take it.

HORRIBLE TEACHER!!! she belongs in elementary school because that is how she treats her students. strict attendance. 1st page of every exam is vocabulary, which is all she talks about during lectures then expects us to do solve problems...HOW?

Lets put it this way. When the school was having lay offs, she should have been first to go. She gets lost during lectures, makes you learn more vocab than math, makes atleast 3 mistakes a day, and yells at you for being a few seconds late when 80% of the time shes not even on time. Most terrible teacher I have ever known. I had no option but to take her class. She makes you work like a dog for a B grade. She does not teach well, only repeats what you can find in the text book. Her exams are difficult. She makes you listen to her stories rather than teach. I had a perfect GPA before I took her class. She shud retire...

I took her class because she was the only class w/open seats. Her exams have definitions & the most difficult math problems of the sections. If the class is failing she'll blame you & not her teaching. At the end of the quarter my class only had 9 students left. She'll lie to you saying if you pass the final she'll pass you. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

notice the endless string of hate comments? there is a good reason! this woman is unbearable! she makes you feel like a kid. during tests everyone has to leave their backpacks in the front of the room with your phones in them. she is doesn't explain. you are better off not going to class and learning from the book. tests are hard she is the worst!!

For tests, she puts problems that we didn't learn. After the 1st midterm, 19 out of 30 ppl dropped. Spends too much time on geometry. HW is everyday, and she tries to help us with hard problem, BUT she spends too much time on basics(i.e. degrees in a circle)that there is no time for lecture and so we don't know how to do the HW for the next day.
