such an awesome teacher. Lectures are fast paced but really easy to understand. you just have to take really good notes. She genuinely cares about your grade in the class and offers a lot of extra credit work you can do to boost your grade. Go over the study guide, go to her office if you have ?s, do the extra credit if needed, and you'll get an A.

Collins is amazing, I've taken almost everyone of her classes. She's the best. Her class is fast and hard at first. Study everything on the study guide and you'll be good! Take a bit to get the hang of it but shes awesome. Can always talk to her about everything.

I LOVE Dr. Collins! I took her bio325enviro ecology in spring '09. She is so sweet &was always very helpful! Very approachable professor! Weather permitting, our labs were outdoors. Her lectures follow the book & can be rather fast. This class has a lot of content;to help guide you, she hands out chapter outlines&test studyguides.Loved this class!

I graduated from CLC (now CLU) in 1972 and I still consider Dr. Collins one of the best professors I ever had in UG and grad school! She was passionate about what she taught and she's still passionate about teaching. She inspired me to want to bea college teacher. Thanks Dr. Collins! God richly bless you.

She has a whiney annoying voice, and her tests are from hell. Just alot to memorize, don't miss class or you will lose a ton of points on exams. Must start memorizing at least 1 week ahead to get a B or better. She is nice, but her voice is so annoying.

One of the nicest professors at Cal Lu, she gets so excited about examples and labwork that it gets you interested in it as well, hikes are fun and you learn alot about the Conejo Valley area, her classes are difficult but what you get out is worth the effort

I was dreading taking my science requirement, but I am really happy I took Dr. Collins' Flora of Southern California. Though it was one of the most difficult classes, it was by far one of the most rewarding and fun. She's a nice person too.
