By far the worst prof I ever had. Made me regret going to film school. Didnt seem to care about her students, their work, her job or her reputation. Just called it in every damn day. Any success Ive had in my career has been in spite of her awful teaching skills.

Far too many people criticize Ms. Evans for her inability to use computers but her taste and knowledge in the cinema are outstanding. Even after watching my own film over 50 times she knew what was wrong with it after a viewing. Her judgement is spot on and I truly appreciate the help she gave me in making an incredible documentary.

Most of her lectures consist of YouTube videos and rarely contain any prepared content at all. When not watching videos, she spends most of the class reading course/assignment outlines and struggling with the computer. Feedback on our films was helpful but if you ask her for anything else she becomes so befuddled that you end up more lost.

Such a huge waste of time. Very kind, motherly woman, but I hardly learned a thing and classes were mostly reminiscent of kindergarten. I wish I had never taken it in some ways. Ah well.

Sometimes a bit dull - but professor is very approachable and accomodating. Good experience. Nice professor. Go to her for help during office hours if you want to get some extra input on your assignments-helpful

Evans really didn't seem that interested in her students or their projects. Though she's perfectly capable of evaluating from a technical perspective once the film was complete, everything prior to that was a painfully dull process. She was a terrible (but accurate) introduction to Film Prod Profs.
