Barbara is the same across all of her classes, I've taken her for 4 of them. She's a kind, giving, and motivated teacher. Speaks perfect english so don't worry. Grades super easy on essays, and partial credit on everything else. Take her over any other IT professor, if you can!

Fantastic teaching skills! I did not have any issues learning, everything was clear and natural. She was very good about using technology in a beneficial way and responding to emails in a timely manner. Would highly recommend!

Extremely good teacher. Had two years of a separate foreign language that was a disaster. Decided to take Italian since it was interesting to me and I couldn't have asked for a better intro teacher. Highly recommend. Lei è eccellente!

AWESOME TEACHER! She made the class fun and interesting because she didn't make it very stressful. SO MUCH opportunity for extra credit. You do need to study from the book for the quizzes, however, because she doesn't always go over the vocab. Highly suggest her over Gabriella Merriman!

Barbara was one of my favorite teachers this semester. She makes class interesting and her quizzes are easy. You need the textbook for sure, because you don't go over vocab in class but it is on the quizzes. The only negatives were that we had class mon through thurs with a quiz every thurs. easy, fun class.

I LOVE HER! She is so sweet & funny. Barbara teaches in English frequently, but switches to Italian at times. She is not strict on assignment deadlines. So if you forget something is due, don't worry. Study for your midterm & final as they are the only two tests & count a lot. Attendance/participation is 20% of your grade. GO TO CLASS! Easy grade!

Barbara is the best professor I had this semester. She is funny and helpful and makes class genuinely fun. I've learned more this semester than I know of my other two foreign languages. Watch out for the quizzes though. You know when they are, but you need to study for them, especially the vocab. She does give a lot of bonus points though.

She is a FANTASTIC professor and is also so helpful. She keeps things simple and easy but she still makes sure you learn. She is also very understanding when it comes to personal issues, she was very helpful with me and moving my final early so I could go home and help take care of my grandfather after a major surgery. I'll ALWAYS recommend her.

The course material for 201 is basically a review of 102, so Barbara kept things interesting by upping the amount of conversation and writing that students are expected to do. No quizzes in this class, but you're left on your own to write several papers. Very good practice! She's a great teacher!

Fantastic teacher! She loves the subject and loves her students. She is always willing to work with students and never gets aggravated when students make mistakes. Homework is not required though does help you learn. Tests and quizzes are very easy. I absolutely suck with foreign languages but she made it possible for me to learn and excell!
