great women, when she says you don't need to know names and dates... she is lying know all the experiments she goes over in class! The textbook is your best friend! she is super fair and understanding that her teaching style isn't everyones learning style. If you need powerpoints or visual aids you will struggle in her class.

Fehr is a great prof. She is kind and caring. She doesn't use power point so you have to write down everything she says. She'll often speak slow though, especially for important stuff. Focus on the experiments that she talks about, as they are often part of tests.

Yes it's true she doesn't use slides but she makes it so easy to write down what she says. She's the sweetest lady and really cares about this class and her students. Don't take this class if you can't handle reading a text book or listening to someone talk. She's a great prof.

No slides. Writes everything on the board. Hard to keep up with, so take cellphone pics if you have to. Test wording can be confusing and she tests on specific details of the studies she describes in class. Not a fan of the study examples she uses, some are rather sexist and she could use better study examples. Make sure to read your textbook.

Fehr is a great prof - well spoken and very thorough when teaching concepts. She is also very friendly and approachable, always willing to answer questions. However, you NEED to read all assigned chapters of the textbook to do well in this course. She tests heavily on textbook material (that has not been touched on in lecture) in exams.

Her class is NOT hard. Graded on 3 tests, each half multiple choice, half short answer. Yes you DO to actually read the textbook and attend class. However it such a pleasure to do so! She is the greatest most passionate prof I've ever had. Doesn't give notes/slides but will say thing VERY clearly in many ways. Please name a psych class easier.

BEST PROF. She doesn't use powerpoint slides, instead she gives lectures verbally. If you miss a class you are kind of screwed unless you get the notes from someone. Highly recommend her!!

Great professor. You can tell she loves what she does. Doesn't use or post slides (so don't miss class) but makes taking notes very easy, gives you plenty of time to get everything down. Her lectures are always enjoyable. Very fair tester.

This is the best prof I've ever had the pleasure to take a class for. No nexus, no powerpoints, no notes handed out. BUT she speaks very clear and says things in many different ways so you understand and have time to take notes. She is extremely passionate and kind. and VERY educated. REALLY wish she wasn't on sabbatical next sem.:(

Bev is such a sweet women. Unfortunately her lecture style is not the greatest. She does not use powerpoint slides so you must write or type everything she says which is tough to get it all down, also her exams are based on the textbook which contains really long chapters. I worked my butt of for an A! Not the easiest psych to take for sure.

Beverly is an extremely kind and passionate prof. However, her classes are really tough. Her lecture notes are ALL verbal with no use of Nexus other than posting some grades. Exams are 50% lecture notes and 50% textbook notes. Reading the text is essential, as she often asks the tiniest details on her exams. Studying hard is a must for a high grade

She doesn't post any notes or any lecture slides on you nexus. She expects you to write down every single word that leaves her lips and can be difficult to hear at times. Be prepared to write down lots of notes. She also speaks pretty fast. I would not take her class again or any other class that she teaches.

Amazing prof! Cares about her students, makes her lectures fun and is one of the best professors I've ever had. Tests can be a little difficult, but as long as you pay attention in class and do the textbook readings, you should be fine!

Nice lady, however letter grade distributions were a bit ridiculous. Tests were very vague. Her short answer is to the point and specific (if you go to class you will do fine) -multiple choice is all over the place. I would not take a class with her again, or recommend her.

Professor Fehr is the best! I completely agree with all the raves. She is kind, she's funny, she's very knowledgeable and loooves her students. If you take social psych, take it with her!!! You do have to go to every single class because she doesn't post any notes, but going to class is a pleasure and the material is interesting

I found professor Fehr one of my favourite professors at the U of W so far. She is really sweet and cares about her students. She is very knowledgable and her classes are very interesting. I would definitely recommend taking one of her classes!!

Awesome prof! She has an amazing teaching technique, she is extremely clear, kind and funny. I wish I would have taken previous classes with her. Exams are easy if you pay attention to her lectures and read textbook. She is very confident in what she knows, very intelligent. Easy participation marks. She makes class enjoyable.
