Barb is crazy. She isn't clear about anything and doesn't want to listen to what you have to say...interrupts and talks over top of you. Doesn't really give helpful suggestions either...just vague comments. She's also not clear about grades or how the final grade is calculated. She seems nice as a person but as a teacher - AGGRAVATING!

Barb is a wonderful professor who cares so much about her students. This is a great class and Barb is very knowledgable. YOU ARE AN ART STUDENT! Art classes are challenging!If you can't handle Barb's class... you've got some serious problems ahead. She is a valuable resource and asset to JMU Art. Take this class, you won't regret it!

barb is great. she's laid back, you can come to class for role and then leave, but the work you do is really great. she's open to anything and had alot of great advice. will do anything to help you out. expect to spend some time outside of class working, but it's an art class, what do you expect.
