If you want an A for this class, you gotta study A LOT for real. I mean FOR REAL. I've never taken any class as hard as this one. Though I stuggled but never give up so i managed to get an A at the end with the final. I felt i wanted to cry when I finally got an A. A lot of students i know took LCC online class to get a good grade.

She honestly does not help when it comes to writing reports. I have emailed her about problems on the homework labs and she takes her time to get back. When she does, its usually a "you asked a stupid question" kind of attitude. I wish I would have listened to this site & took another online class from HawCC or something. Do not take her -- serious

www class. The exams were difficult, but if you study thoroughly they were manageable. She was not clear about what she wanted from the reports she assigned, graded with cruel severity and little support. The website she uses is not the college site (laulima) and the format is TERRIBLE. Her involvement in the class is...none. I want my money back.

Had this prof more than once for my major, so I am a GOD. She's the better of the 2 profs, but it doesn't mean shes the best. Class is hard, online is worst! 3 term papers on absolute crap(2 if youre really lucky), 3-4 exams, and a 2hr final(study hard and maybe youll finish in 1h55min like me!). Think about it, youve been warned!

This class was very difficult, but if you're interested in econ and you read the chapter BEFORE you go to the lecture you'll pass, get the study guide and actually use it and you're golden. I got 100% or more on every test in this class.

She is funny and seems nice and helpful but class was harder than it it shouldve been. Tests sometimes contain material that was not covered in class. She doesnt go over how to write the papers so they can be hard to write and bring grades down. Grades pretty harsh.

dude, i don't know what the person is talking about below me. this teacher is awful, she has a cruel laughter, she gives out homework thats impossible to do and she gives no extra credit, she doesn't even bother to give us advice or spend extra time helping us. she is a major FAIL and she harasses the students and makes them feel low and stupid.

Not everyone failed this class. I got an A. Those who didn't like the class, didn't even try. You don't get good grades by coming late to class, not reading the text and not doing the homework. Barbara Ross is helpful at ALL times not just during office hours. She answered emails very promptly. Take her classes - she's really great.

everyone failed this class, the majority failed, only a few passed, and those few come here to post ocmments on how great she is. the few who passed had to suck up and were extremely talented, but for average students like my self and above average as well, it is unbearable. only the extremely talented in econ majors should take this class

I admit she is strict and picky, but NOT as bad as people said. A professor is no supposed to pass or fail a student. Their job is teaching and assisting students along the way. this teacher is horrible. i dont know what the person below me is saying but she is the worse teacher at KCC. you basically dont need to go to her class because she shows powerpoints which comes with the book. her tests are unbelievably hard which cant be studied for and her grading style is too strict. get a different teacher if can!

Ross knows what she's doing and is a good teacher! I took her class twice (ECON120&130). Econ is really a hard subject, just by reading txtbooks makes me super confused, but after she explains it everything became clear! even though she askes tricky questions but those answers to the questions r really interesting and helps u learn alot about econ!

abosolutely horrible, her teaching skills are aweful. she plays trick questions with the class. instead of going straight to the point and explaining it to us, she will give us tricky questions like "if usa makes 4 apples and bosnia makes 4 apples..who makes more" the answer is obviously none why bother asking stupid questions like that?
