i love professor rosen!! for this class she uses about half the class for lectures then has us write out answers to possible questions we'll be asked at interviews. those are graded. also one group project writing a memo. its very straightforward. midterm and final are both in class writing assignments also straightforward.

She can be a tough grader on assignments, both in class and homework assignments. She needs to have more clear grading criteria because there are so many assignments, which range from 3-10 points usually, and she can be vague about what she wants. Dictates everything in class so take good notes.

Shes a nice lady and she gets the point across. if public speaking is a strength for you youll love the class if not you're in trouble and need to work on yourself. She critiques a bit harshly. Come prepared and youre on her good list. most speeches were about 3 minutes long so not bad, just prepare and you'll be fine, a few writing assignments

Simply awful. If you read anything else it is a lie. Her lack of understanding or care for the student and their situation is truly amazing. If you live a perfect life and nothing ever comes up that would stop you from doing assignments in her credit filler of a class, then take her. Her weekly assignments require far to much effort for 5 points.

Professor Rosen=perfection. What really blew me away was how quickly she responded to me when I e-mailed her, even on weekends. She knows her stuff. Take her class, any class she teaches.

Prof Rosen is an excellent teacher. She certainly gives A's cause I got one. She just doesn't gives A's at midterm time because she wants us to strive all semester long. She's just the best teacher I've had at SJU. I plan to take her lit. class in the future.

Nice lady, certainly funny. But as a communications major and a person with complete confidence in and experience with public speaking, I found her to be a bit harsh. Unless you're PERFECT at it, and nobody is, you'll never get above a B. She flat out said she never gives A's, even if they deserve it, and she told me I deserved an A. Not cool.

Professor Rosen was my favorite professor! I was so nervous to take this class and about having to give speeches but she helped me to start overcoming my fear. Easy class, she wants you to show up and there are a handful of impromptu speeches along with the regular ones, but they're fun. I highly recommend you take her!

I had Prof. Rosen for Public Speaking this past semester. Honestly, one of the best teachers I've ever had...anywhere! She's so sweet and wants you to do well! She always has something nice to say about your speech and makes a nerve-racking class a lot easier to get through.

I was in that LST class. Never did the professor ridicule anyone. She is the most energetic professor I've ever had. Helpful and caring. I know how deeply she cares--she got major help for someone in need in that class.

Not really a good teacher taught us random stuff and was unclear about assignments. When people couldn't show up she'd assign mystery assignments and ridicule you when you came into next class. Tough grader, doesn't really care but acts as if she does. Don't take her class.
