She was fine. Easy A, but came out of the class feeling like I hadn't learned anything. Great if you just want to to the minimum and get a good grade, but not so much if you want to actually learn Spanish.

Comment:

Toro is a very caring professor that helps you to ensure you pass this class. She assigns less homework than what's on the syllabus. Each class session is a straight-forward lesson on either vocab or grammar. She also assigns a group skit before you take a test. The final is a power point presentation & a 10 min. oral exam. Good professor overall.

She's not sympathetic at all. I had to miss class for a funeral and she wouldn't let me retake an exam. Also, she forgot to record our grade for an exam and I threw mine away so she gave me a 0 and wouldn't let me retake. It's hard to learn because she doesn't really care.

She's a very hard grader and is no help what so ever, she often takes time out of class just to yell at students just for eating. She has no favorites but seems to have a group of people she hates. Try to take another class if not get ready to work. she probably rates herself on here cuz these easy rates are not true.

Beatriz is a great teacher. She tries hard for everyone in the class to pass. She seems scary and unapproachable, but she is very understanding. She is, however, a tough grader. You won't pass her class if you don't try. She also assigns a lot of homework. I did learn a lot throughout the semester, which is always good.

Very helpful teacher. Makes sure you know the material in class by calling on everyone. If you put in effort in and outside of the class you will pass. She is secretly hilarious and very quirky. Show her you try and she will help you throughout the course. Love her!

All students complaining about Toro are the kind of students who sit in the back and complain about being in school. Beatriz is spunky, that's all. Yeah, show up and participate or miss out. She's more than just some robot who translates things for you. She actually explains things well and opens minds. LOVED this lady.

She's a good teacher honestly, but she can be mean and annoying. VOLUNTEER TO READ IN CLASS. If you don't participate, she marks you down. I did all the homework, got A's and B's on the tests, went to EVERY single class, Aced the final test and got a C in the end. Eff that. Participate!!!!

Shes a pretty strict teacher/grader. Takes attendance very seriously. I had a really hot girl sitting in front of me so it was easy to go to class. She was my partner too so it helped me keep up with the homework/assignments so I didn't look like a goof when I showed up. Pretty good teacher.

AWESOME teacher. You have to want to learn spanish, and she loves to help students learn. she explains concepts and grammar very well, and altho attendance is mandatory, it is very helpful if u do attend. recommend her if you want to learn spanish, she is a great teacher. She deserves respect, and people should give it to her as a professor.
