Everyone likes him because he's a nice man and an entertaining professor. Yet, he rambles on about random things that have nothing to do with the class and many times you have no idea what to study for the test. It's sometimes hard to understand him and I often had to google terms from the class because he did not talk about them adequately.

Mr. Abell is a good teacher with a solid background in meteorology. The notes that he writes on the board are very clear and the tests are fairly straightforward. However, he grades hard and doesn't believe in giving partial credit.
