Comment:

Hes a nice man but he literally does not stop talking. His class is just a long lecture, no powerpoint or anything just him talking. He also has a thick accent and bad handwriting so it's very hard to know what he's saying. I do not understand a single thing and have to read the book and teach myself. Hes a nice guy but not very helpful.

I love this guy. He explains everything so clearly, very organized, and you can tell he's comfortable and familiar with the content. He's friendly and funny. He gives 3 exams, each worth 33% of your grade- but don't worry, you get a study guide and you're prepared for it. He's kind of soft spoken but if you sit up front, you'll be fine.

Only tests are the midterm and final, but questions are provided before hand. He has an accent so he's hard to understand. Read the material and pay attention and you'll do fine. Do not recommend for those who get distracted easily b/c the topic of sociology is boring to those not originally interested. Attendance is mandatory.

Sociology is a pretty boring subject but as long as you pay attention and take notes you will be fine! He is an incredibly smart and intelligent man and he really knows what he's talking about. He gives two tests in which you have the questions before hand. He loves when you ask questions too!

Don't take this class unless you absolutely have to, he only gives a midterm and a final so you better be good at test. Boring and long lectures that make no sense what so ever. When you get your midterm back there is no explanation of why you got the grade you did. Oh and you don't need to by the text book it is a waste of money, and isn't used

His lectures are long, even though it was just an hour and fifteen minutes. He drags on and on, but if you bring your computer it can be easier. He has two tests, gives you 6 or so essay topics to study, and then chooses two for the test. Went to him for help and he was amazing, you just have to seek him out.

First of all this class made me want to fall asleep every week. I did not take any notes because I genuinely could not understand anything this man said bc of his accent. However, the whole grade is midterm and final he gives you the possible topics and u can find answers on internet. I got an A in this class without paying attention to anything.

He's a good professor, definitely knows what he's talking about but his lectures are very boring. Bring coffee you'll need it. His tests are easy there's only two though. As long as you show up it's an easy A. Taking notes is important to pass his class.

Attendance is mandatory. There is no homework or anything else besides the midterm and the final. All you have to do is study for the final and midterm. You get to choose which questions you answer for the midterm and final and he gives you the exact questions in a study guide weeks before. Easy A. However, his lectures are brutal; he is so boring.

Hadis is an intelligent man, but his class is very boring. A three hour lecture is spent by him just lecturing, it is easy to doze off and hard to recuperate as he has an accent. His grading is based on 2 things, midterm and final , both are essays. save yourself the agony and take with Prof Wang, or not at all, topic is BORING!

Hadis is knowledgeable professor. However, it is true that he could use a pointer in lecturing and having the classes get more involved. Classes can be incredibly boring. Best thing to do is to start up a topic and get fellow class mates participating.- makes the time go by faster

Stay away!!After the first day of class i have decided to drop it.His voice is very monotone and boring, and will definitely put you to sleep. The way his teaching style is,it's very hard to determine what is important and what isn't so that can be problematic. It would be wise to just avoid his class all together

HORRIBLE, it is a constant battle to stay awake. There is NO class participation, he talks from the minute he starts class to the minute it finishes. Gives you no breaks and keeps you the whole time. It is almost impossible to pay attention to his monotonous tone. STAY AWAY FROM HIS CLASS.
