Dr. Ben is a great human being but he is so scatterbrained when teaching. I cannot keep up with him and his stories. He will be in the middle of teaching and start telling a story and then move on to something else. Also way too much mathlab homework. It doesn't match anything you learn. You do more on there then you learn in class.

The class isn't difficult because of him, the content is really challenging unless you've taken calculus before. His lectures are the BEST. You don't need the physical book, all you need is a MyMathLab code.

Dr. Rushing is SUCH a great guy! Class was surely fun with him.I knew most of the material before he went over it, so it was more like a refresher, but for the parts i didn't know the homework helped A LOT! He will always answer any questions you have. He is such a sweet heart, and he gets off task some times... but it usually involves fun!

I have him right now as a freshman for precal could. He is very good at what he does. He doesn't give a lot of class work,so you will have to past his test if you want an A. Other then that I would take him for every math class for now on.

I took his class this summer (09) and he was amazing! So willing to help, even coming in early. Nice guy, and wants you to good in his class. Do your blackboard homework and review the practice tests he gives you and you'll do fine! Deserves every rave review he has gotten! Dreaded taking the class but afterward, was happy I did! TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

Wonderful man! I've never been great at math. My 1st semester I was in the hospital for a week and missed several classes. He worked with me one-on-one and helped to get caught up. Really good guy.
