She is an amazing professional, it is just metter of keep your mind open you will work a lot but as well you will learn a lot. Very professioanl. As a person, lovely, gives advice and is very helpful! I am glad I got to have her as my professor.

Professor Mingus knows her stuff but she can be scatterbrained at times. Make sure you show up to class or she will deduct points. Also, finish your projects on time, don't miss the critiques and write on your journal/brainstorm for her to see your ideas and give you the best grade possible. Save all of your lecture notes for the final essay.

Mingus is the master of poor time management. She doesn't assign a textbook so you get all the info from her lectures; which are incoherent. She lets you out of class late every single day, so if you do take her, don't plan another class afterwards. Her assignments are unclear. She ONLY does group projects. Her tests are confusing.

She is a very kind and sweet lady but her method of teaching was one that I wasn't used to. I felt it to be disorganized and dull not to mention all the group work we had to do with others that was graded as an entire group instead of how it should be individually.

Ms Mingus is a non judgemental wonderful person, but every damn assignment is a group assignment.I've basically carried my team throughout the whole semester, mentioned it to her, and bought more supplies than I wanted to. Teams are not even, and I'm pulling the weight. I wish half were group project, and half were individual projects.

I love mrs mingus but.....her teaching style is confusing as heck. She has her bad days its hilarious! !!!!!! FYI: if you want a good grade on group projects make sure you wow her. Thats where your grade will matter. Those tests matter but I think she grades you on how creative you are honestly.

Do not think this is a simple class. The title is misleading, it's more of an art history class. She is very passionate about the subject, so ask questions. Very difficult to understand. Will lecture, but I didn't get it. Never answered questions with a good response. Had information on powerpoints, but random info pops up on the test. No matter how hard I tried to pay attention, I fell asleep due to boredom. Wouldn't recommend..

She did not seem to organized which hurt the performance of the students in the class. she does know the subject and if you listen and take notes on EVERYTHING she says and look after them you will be fine. it wont be easy though. when she gives assingments she is not that clear and she does have a bit of a Tude. so be for warned.

This teacher is ridiculous! I should have known from the 2nd I saw her purple hair that she was going to be trouble. I recently fell into poor health this semester. Despite my Dr's. notes, she didn't accept them. She failed me! This teacher is mean! And a looney. She makes repeat references throughout the semester to shamans- she wishes she was 1!
