She is awful, I went to her hours and she did not even help me with what I was struggling with. Just made me feel even worse for how I was doing in her class. Its online, its A L O T of material to understand and i suggest taking Dewitt in class.

Do not take this class with her. She's unapproachable, and very rude to students. I came to her office hours for help and she basically blamed me for not understanding the material. RSCH methods is online, and a LOT of material. Graded quiz and activity + exams are your grade. You'll need to work hard for an A. Review sessions were no help.

This class was a lot, quizzes and assignment s every week. They are difficult if you do not read or review material prior. The discussion boards required a lot , she graded the, pretty tough but you have Tom make sure you meet the requirements. Over all i learned a lot there Ismaili a lot of reading.

I took Criminal Procedure as an online class and kind of regret it. There was a TON of information that needed to be read weekly. Along with readings there were weekly tests and assignment. Exams were difficult. I think this class would have been better if taken via in-class lectures.

Isn't it so very interesting how people who miss SEVERAL DAYS in a three week class are so quick to blame the professor? DP had A LOT of material to cover, but Dr. B did a great job of doing it. People who complain simply didn't try. Dr. Bjerregaard is awesome.

Death Penalty was easy. She tells you exactly how the test is going to be. She can move fast with the material, and it definitely wasn't best suited for a solid 3 hour class at night, but it's pretty straight forward. Plus, touring NC Central Prison and death row was awesome.

I honestly like her. She is a great teacher and actually cares about the success of her students. Very plain spoken and down to earth with her answers. No tricks, no bull. Ask and you get the answer. Very quick to respond to e-mail requests for help and an overall very nice, sincere and good person. Keep on keeping on, Dr. B. :)

I was absolutely looking forward to taking this class until I listened she began to speak and I looked at the syllabus. She does not teach in a manner conducive to the way I learn. I gave her a try and finally withdrew. I rocked in my other CJUS courses...nothing but A's. Her teaching style just wasn't right for me.

A ton of powerpoint note taking but the test questions mostly come from her notes. Tests aren't hard but do take a good amount of studying the notes and scenarios to get an A.

Group work is minimal and pretty easy. Nothing outside of class. You'll take a lot of notes, but if you go to class, you'll be easily prepared for the tests. A lot of the scenarios on the test came direct from class. Online quizes really help your grade, as well as an easy analysis paper. I made a B, and that's with skipping at least once a week.

She's an okay professor. Be prepared to take lots of notes, do in class group work and online quizzes. You must study real hard for the tests and make sure you know what the heck you are talking about because you must elaborate intelligently on one section of the test.

She's extremely knowledgeable about the law and amendments. Will always answer questions without hesitating. Tests can be tricky. Small, in-class groupwork to practice lawful-scenarios for test. Helps a lot. Quizes online. Good, interesting class, but make sure you always attend and are up to date on everything going on.

Stupid in class assignments. Group work. You miss one day and you might as well miss the next three days because the class will revolve around the groups for the following days. Lame. Just assign the analysis and let us work on it. Takes time away from decent lectures.

Dr. B is one of the gems of the Ph.D. public policy program. Her grasp of the material is exceeded only by her ability to explain it. She is especially adept at pacing the course to the skills and needs of the students, going faster when we were getting it, and slowing down when we were stupified. And sometimes she brings candy to class.
