Beth is such a sweetheart and cares a lot about theatre. The information is very easy to memorize, just a quick look over of notes before classes for the exams. There are two Analysis papers that you need to write, but they are an easy A. There's a lab option to get out of the final project. If you have time, do it, but the final project is easy.

This class was so easy! The only thing I didn't like was that you get assigned groups on the first day and you have to work with them for the rest of semester. Really nice professor, at times can be boring, but a really easy A. Turn in your work and you'll be good.

It is a pretty easy class. Do your work and you should get an A. You will have to act a little in front of the class. Beth is caring teacher.

Beth is one of the most caring professors I have ever had. Her section of Theatre Foundations about script analysis caused me to look at scripts of play in a different light and taught me to analyze them. She assigns an analysis paper on the play we study but she is grades it easy because she is expecting entry-level work for an entry-level class.

Prof. Cherne is the nicest person you will ever meet and a caring professor who loves what she does. Its an easy A if you turn in your homework on time. Only 2 exams and a final project that isnt too difficult. Plenty of extra credit to give too. If you want a break from other difficult classes, shes the one for you for a gen ed.

Dr. Cherne was awesome! I'm not interested in theater whatsoever, and she made the class somewhat enjoyable with minimal work. As long as you follow directions on the assignments, she basically gives you 100%. Definitely recommend.

I was looking forward to this class, and I was disappointed. We were assigned groups on the first day, and had to spend most of the semester working with them. I was also very unsure of my grades on group projects. She was overall a good professor, and I would take her again.

Easy easy easy. This is not a bad class to attend and she really tries to make it fun and interactive. You have a few assignments that take like 10 minutes, 2 tests that she basically gives you the answers to the day before and a final project that she grades very liberally. I really liked her as a teacher and I'm not too into theatre...

Easiest class I've ever taken. Nicest lady, take her. She tells you everything on the exam and gives you 3 weeks to do a simple project that could be done in 1 hour. Plus, we rarely had class go beyond 30 minutes. TAKE HER

Very easy A. She's a great teacher, explains very clearly, and you can tell that she's passionate about the subject. I wasn't looking forward to it, but I learned quite a bit and I'm glad to have taken it. Just a heads-up, though: you'll have to do (2-3 scenes) of acting at some point. Once that's out of the way, it's all very easy.

She's a very nice woman and the class is very easy. On the occasional day that she lectures, its pretty confusing and all over the place but she's more than happy to go over it again. Two tests are super easy. You do have to act several times and attending plays is mandatory but if you use your imagination you will get an A.

This is an easy class. You can tell she's super into theatre, especially when she lectures, which isn't often. As long as you do the random assignments here and there you'll do completely fine. Only 2 tests and a final project which are all easy. A lot less work than most other theatre classes I felt

It was a lot of work for a 100 level appriciation class. You have to act about two or three times. Two tests are really easy if you go over your notes, no final test, just a final project where you can either act or design a set. She is a nice lady but theres way too much writing and group projects in my opinion.

This class SUCKED. If you're not a theatre major, or super interested in theatre, don't take her. It's way too much work for a 100 lvl class, and she's WAY too picky on the tests. If the answers are word-for-word, you get them wrong. She knows her stuff, and loves theatre, but if you don't, don't take her.

Beth is an excellent professor. The best I've ever had. She's so passionate about theatre and diversity and life. If you want to learn and be creative and be enjoyably acadamically fulfilled take any of her classes. And yes, she's hot.
