Horrible teacher but a nice person. We never got assignments back until the end of the semester! Everything was unclear. I did everything I could to get an A, but her test are impossible. Do not take her for Advocacy and Argument!

Class has changed. . She does this online forum stuff. Very boring. Tedious class work. you need the book. MT and final. Need to know material b/c of the test is application not memorization. Quiz on every chapter 3 short paper one long. Very demanding class. Like the material. LOTS of EASY extra credit to get a good grade.

I have no idea how anyone rated this woman well. She could not have cared less about her students. She was useless when it came to help and took FOREVER to return even the simplest assignment. OVERRATED! The class was boring and all this "fun" the other comments speak of never happened. I've never been so disappointed in a professor here at Towson.

Asked her numerous times to post grades before the pass/fail date. she assured me they would be up the weekend before (she didn't post them til a month later). Takes forever to give back grades and isn't very understanding. don't take this if you have a choice

She's a very efficient speaker and the info is pretty straight-forward. I'm disappointed that the class wasn't more interesting, though... if you don't mind waiting almost a month (or more) for your grades, jump in.

Beth is the best!! She's helpful open minded and her class fun. Her exams are hard but, she curves the grade a lot. I never brought the book and still got a B+. But you should get to know her she is a great professor.We need more like her.

Great teacher. Interesting class. 3 exams, non cumulative and a debate worth the same as an exam. No final. Easy assignments. Many xtra credit asmts. Powerpoint lectures. She uses good examples and asks students to get involved. Tests are difficult but she does give you heads up on what to study.Didn't take attendance because class was so large.

Great Teacher, Good Class. She is definitely willing to help you. It may seem like a lot of work but it isn't. she is very nice- good sense of humor. The tests are kind of hard- just do a better job of studying than I did :o)

Not a bad professor at all. Very clear on all assignments. Just keep up with attendance and all of your assignments (it may seem like a lot of work but it really isnt) and you'll be fine. Again, one of the better Comm teachers.

Pretty easy class. Don't be scared off by the syllabus. She's very easy going, and funny during class. You get 3 classes to miss, after that she deducts 25 points for each... don't go over 3!! The final debate is a breeze. The class isn't bad, take it with her.... you'll be just fine.

Everyone loves her. Keeps class interesting in a lg lecture room. Fair tests. Fair grader. (easy GPA raiser) Very clear, and makes sure we understand before moving on. Actually learned a lot. She's pretty funny, too. No bad comments. Good teacher. Good class. Loved it.

The most organized and effective class I've taken at Towson. Her lectures are structured and very easy to understand. Willing to help. Offers a lot of extra credit. I really enjoyed her as a professor.

Hard class. I passed, but would have got better grade if I turned in a few evidence cards. DO EXTRA CREDIT, it HELPS. Nice lady, will help if you ask questions so don't be afraid to ask. A lot of work though!
