Dr. K is without a doubt, the best literature professor I have ever had. Her passion about the subject, stimulating class discussions, and use of supplementary materials make each text read come to life. She will challenge you, so don't expect to skate through her classes... but it is worth it and definitely a wonderful experience.

Take a writing enhanced course with her and you'll feel like you have no time for anything else. Lots of work. Hated her class and won't ever take her again, but I'll give her one thing--she's definitely a smart lady.

Really, really great professor. Her class is unbelievably interesting and class discussions are great. However, this is NOT a course you can just get by in easily. You need to put in effort. If you're naturally inclined to writing, you'll be fine.

Taking her class may be like being in a book club, but that should be no big surprise -- it IS a literature course. Where you are supposed to study and analyze literature. Dr. K gives a lot of work, both reading and writing, but if you are naturally inclined to that sort of thinking this course should be no problem for you. I personally love her.

I dislike this woman with a passion.She was not understanding at all.When we discussed books and i had a different opinion than her, my opinion didn't count and i was wrong.It's a book and everyone views things differently.She needs to get over herslef, she isn't the only one with an opinion and who says her opinion is right?Do NOT take her class!!

Dr. K is a great prof to have! You can tell she loves what she does and cares about students. She is fun and interacts with her students. Her class provides the right level of a challenge, it's not so hard that you feel like you're drowning in work, but it's not easy that you feel you're wasting your $40,000 tuition.

Evil. Took her for an online course that was demanding and challenging. She was strict, rude, and held grudges on certain students. The material is interesting, the work is legit, but the unnecessary deadlines and time constraints limit some individuals from doing their best. Only take her if you have a lot of time on your hands.

I have since graduated (2006) but Dr. K has been, BY FAR, the best professor I have ever had. She is tough but is also VERY understanding and helpful. She is willing to help anyone who she sees is giving even an iota of effort...I personally witnessed her help someone who was doing NOTHING in class so he would pass! 2 yrs later and I still call her

As far as a professor, her instructions are clear and precise. But as far as being an understanding indivudal, she is the worst.I took her for an online course. Made a slight mistake in the beginning and excelled till the end. Unfortunately, she was completely misunderstanding and based off of some of her email responses, she is harsh as well.

She's an excellent teacher. Be prepared to read and work, but its all worth it. Never any tests quizes or finals. Always willing to help you out in any way possible and real easy to talk to. She even pushes back dates if you really need. Excellent teacher, I make sure I always take her.

She will make you work hard but at the same time is extremely fair and will always let you come to her office to look over a paper or something. People just don't like her because she has high standards and expects college students to actually spend more than 10 minutes on an assignment.
