Professor Simon taught the internet course I took this semester and I enjoyed it. She is a great teacher and never ignored any of my questions or concerns. If you do the work you will get an A. This is an internet course not to be worried about and the class is set up in an easy way. Just take it.

Highly recommended, was very helpful and grading was fair. Her tests are based on the leture so if you go to class (and pay attention), its an easy A. I took her for CSC-161 and this gave me a perfect understanding of the fundementals of Java. If you have the chance take her, you will not regret it.

To be objective, C++ is super hard to learn if u are not interested or if you dont study it critically. With that said, She is a hard prof. The first day of class she said, "More than half of you will fail this class". She always comes to class late. I guess she is not very helpful also. Her labs are a joke also. Take her at your own risk

Not the easiest professor but not the easiest class. She teaches the class the best way possible and put a lot of effort into making difficult subject matter very clear. WARNING, you will only get out of this class as much is you but in, so make sure to do all your work study hard, go to all classes, and ASK QUESTIONS.

She is very hard. Especially on her lab assignments. She doesn't know how to teach her students. In other words, she doesn't pass the knowledge to you. Instead learning in her class, I suggest you to learn on your own at home. She won't help you out if your program doesn't run. Please stay her away.

she's not as bad as the other ppl make her out to be. her YELLOW book is good; u should use it alot to study for the tests and even the lab assignments. she may come off as rude, but if u act reallly hopeless & keep going to her saying "i don't get it" then she will be much nicer&helpful in class :P

Wow, its not so often that you get such a great professor. With what I learned in class I was able to do labs from other professor's classes. The [dreaded deparmental] final was also a breeze, and I never had to read a page of the book!
