People who don't like Bill are just afraid of doing work. His classes are university level college classes. If you are not committed you will not pass. In your 4th semester you get the true experience when you are assigned an assignment per week and they must be done on time. He teaches you to band together as a family to get things done!

I have had him for 3 different classes in the ICT program, he is the worst teacher ever, he favourites students and expects students to do 60-70 hours of school work per week. Get ready he will pile readings on top of reviewing the in class lectures with multiple assignments and short deadlines. He's not helping students, he's killing them withwork

Invaluable class, gives you a great head start in the field of I.T. His assignments may appear very difficult but once you've completed them they're really not. I have learned to be a lot more analytical and attentive to detail with this course. He provides fundamental knowledge that gives you a big advantage over certification based programs.

Honestly, one of the best lecturers I've come across at Sheridan. His lectures are actually amazing. You can really learn a lot (though it might not have anything to do with the content of the course) The rest of the experience in his classes can be off-putting. The quizzes are not easy...

Bill doesn't teach you thing you use for the most part he teaches you how to learn and work like a crazy person. Nothing is ever clear the assignment will take over your life. If you are not extremely well disciplined and smart you will need to adapt fast. To his credit anyone leaving will have great skills for the work force.

I really liked him, I wanted an A in his class really badly. Bill is a... rough diamond in the rough. He's tough ("rough") but hes really knowledgeable ("diamond") and you can learn a lot. He teaches a course that can be tough when taught in detail ("in the rough"). He's good & if you do bad, don't try uni. Cuz he is rly EZ compared to uni coures.

awesome teacher but hard marker and well if you hate him you hate him. but if you actually end up enjoying the material you will learn quite a bit from him and he will always answer your questions no matter how off topic they are.

I understand the people being complete and total babies about him. but he is an incredibly good teacher and he makes sure you know the material. yes he is incredibly hard but totally worth it. and for the people saying felix is better thats just because he babied you guys.

Probably one of the hardest teachers out there. Doesn't help clear out his ambiguous questions , leaving you even more confused. Most of his material is made up so good luck finding help on Google. The only positive is that he pushes you to new endurance limits. Be prepared to dedicate your life during his courses.

Hmm. Excellent teacher !!!. Keeps you interested and explains concepts in a way you can understand. Assigments extremally challenging but very poorly explained. Don't ask questions - you won't get clear answers and will be sent to google... In this teacher's class, don't worry about passing just learn as much as you can and hope for the best..

Best teacher I've ever had. Sooo passionate about the program and he is truly full of knowledge and wants you to learn. Yes his tests and his methods are hard but stop being babies and grow up. Get your act together and you could do great things with his tutalidge.

Not as bad as everyone here says. I've graduated from Telecomm 2008 class and when I look back now he did his job well (even tho I hated him sometimes during). He is passionate about the program and pushes people to be their best. He wants the graduates coming out to maintain the reputation that they are the best. Exams are brutal but its worth it.

VERY UNORGANIZED. Has no notes to rely on just lectures on the top of his head, whatever comes to mind, he says it. Goes off topic fast. Doesnt really teach much, his classes are mostly self-study. Most of the labs are just pathetic, you ask him for help;"ask your peers or use the internet" is his most common reply.DONT TAKE TELECOM.Worst program.
