His World Religions class was the first college course I had (2013), his Old Testament the last I took at Sandhills CC before transferring to East Carolina for my BA. Im graduating as a licensed teacher in May 18, and he is still the best professor Ive ever encountered. Wise, personable, meticulous, and a credit to the field of theology.

I absolutely adored Bill Harris. He is so passionate, open-minded, and knowledgeable about everything that he teaches. He is easy to understand, engaging, and will really get you thinking inside and outside of class. Really simple class as long as you enjoy the material!

I have completed my bachelors in Computer Science and Economics at a well revered University in North Carolina. I must say that in my academic career, this has been the most memorable man I have encountered. The wisdom departed upon you through self inflection he pushes is nothing short of incredible. Would take again. Best kept secret in NC.

It's been a few years since I took classes at SCC, but I remember this man's classes fondly. He encouraged me to speak my mind, quiet as I was. He's been all over the world and gladly shares his experiences. Just beware, if you aren't open minded he won't like you. Don't take his classes if you have a narrow minded, typical Western viewpoint.
